  1. Past hour
  2. I have also submitted a ticket about this.
  3. Just in case this affects anyone I noticed 10.87.3 forces the calendar widget into timeline view. Putting into list view reverts it when Evernote is closed and reopened. There is also currently no way to remove tasks from the calendar and have it stick after a relaunch. @Federico Simionato
  4. Curious, I have been doing this for a year, and after the share from Apple Notes a new Evernote Note is in the Inbox with the handwritten note. Share to Evernote also works like that for me with text Apple Notes. I initially used Penultimate, but it sometimes goes wrong ...
  5. Your use case 😉. My is based on better support of my keyboard like mentioned in 058 - Suggestions for TOC, anchored links and collapsed sections handling There are no keystrokes available to collapse and uncollapse sections Writers would like to use their keyboard without mouse as long as possible For the moment you can collapse and uncollapse sections only by clicking [>] and [v] icons with the mouse... I'd like to get Alt-Right-Arrow and Alt-Left-Arrow to uncollapse and collapse a section below a headline or list item Some would like to use Shift-Right-Arrow or Shift-Left-Arrow like Windows Explorer uses to open/close subfolder - but these keystrokes are used to select text within note editing windows. This behaviour should not be changed. Ctrl-Right-Arrow and Ctrl-Left Arrow are also not a good choice because they're used to move the cursor to the next or previous word. But possibility to collapse/uncollapse all might be a good idea also - I'll add it to my text.

  7. FYI: Added an item to 058 - Suggestions for TOC, anchored links and collapsed sections handling
  8. Oh, wow.. lol Sounds like a bug that needs to be squashed.
  9. Added "TOCs should show life titles of headlines" triggered by Ability to refresh the Table of Contents
  10. I agree but I am very excited about how quickly the Bending Spoons team is moving now. It's likely they are firefighting right now but I'm very curious to see where we are a year from now. I'm already moving away from my previous workarounds since the features we have needed for a very long time are finally being developed.
  11. I love that Tasks finally has a fully view along with the various shortcuts to different views. I would imagine that this would be need to align with the feature of adding Tags to a TODO, but I'd love if I could get a Kanban view in the future. (Like Trello, Jira, or MSFT Tasks). I have built my own in the past using tables with checklists inside the cells but the ability to use Tasks with reminders / due dates etc would be the next level for me. I don't know how complicated this would be but a short term solution could be if I could put a Task inside of a table but I would imagine the formatting would need to change quite a bit.
  12. There is alot here that hasn't really been thought through. EN chose to make the TOC links regular EN links with an extra bit to indicate the section. Regular EN links do update if you display them in "Title" or "Preview" modes. But if you do that every link is named as the name of the note.and no longer seems to work Also, while you are exploring collapsible sections and internal TOC, you will find that a TOC to a sub section doesn't work if the main section is collapsed. I hope these things will get sorted but I'm slightly concerned that EN have a "tick the box and then move on" approach to new features. So they sort of work, but could be so much better.
  13. Cool, thanks! I didn't see it in the list of feature requests.
  14. Agreed. People started asking for it as soon as collapsible headings were released!
  15. I love the new Table of Contents feature for big notes. It's also really cool that it's already linked and I can preview it and that I can collapse nested sections in the table! I can't find if this already exists but as I update the note, I can't find a way to refresh the ToC. It looks like I currently need to delete the old one and generate a new one. It would be great if I can A. Refresh the ToC when Hovering Over it (or a unique header titled "Table of Contents") or B. The Table of Contents dynamically updates based on changes I make to the note. Thanks!
  16. Yeah - but they will. 😃 I wondered a similar thing with a change that was bound to cause more support issues 9 months ago when I mentioned (opined ?) that they were already "reeling" from support issues. I don't think they see the support issue as big a problem as some people in the forums think it should be and they aren't going to wait XX years until support issues die down to release new features. Personally, I haven't had an issue with support per se -- like no account level or missing notes or anything like that. I've only had issues with lack of QA / regression testing on new releases which I would guess/hope are somewhat separate entities...? -- but that QA stuff still related and perhaps somewhat affected by the reduction of dedicated Evernote resources consolidation.
  17. It would be great if I had the option to collapse or expand all of the sections in a note. I love the new feature and I'm using it quite a bit in my larger notes but I find myself going from section to section expanding and then collapsing them one at a time. If there was an option, perhaps when hovering over the arrow or as an option in the / menu. That would be great.
  18. Physical placement of a task in calendar view On both Evernote for Windows and Evernote for Web, if a task has a due time, the visual display in the calendar is located above the due time, which seems counterintuitive. I would prefer the task to be located just below the time for which it is scheduled. Do you have Any opinions? Can someone forward this concern to the developers? Thanks. Renner Anderson
  19. Hello, Nothing seems to work. I totally closed the old account, cleaned up all the EN files, opened a new account with my business email, etc. Plus, it happens when I'm in my account online as well. And I haven't even installed the Mac app yet !!! ??? I am running a MacBook Pro 15-inch 2019 and I have never replaced the battery as it's still working really well.
  20. Agreed. This is a huge time-saver. C'mon, Evernote team!
  21. i have the same thing - don't believe it's database related as I've thrown mine away a few times. What mac are you running on? And have you ever replaced the battery?
  22. I don't know of any. Sounds like an open source or community-style software app approach to me. I wouldn't want anyone posting anything into my bug tracker!
  23. As I recall, I got into it because it was a big department with lots of vacancies that paid pretty well. I didn't realise why there were quite so many vacancies until later...
  24. That's a dream - but would be the best working support interface I can imagine. Do you really have an example of a SW company (in comparable size to EN) that uses such an open approach? They all fear for competitors lurking the database... 😞
