Maybe but they can't expect us to take a 50% increase and act as beta testers- they should be paying us or reducing the subscription.

I have to agree. I'm on professional and was paying around 70 pounds a year. Just checked and its now around 105 a year! do the maths that's an increase of around 50%. For WHAT? Does the product work? No Has it improved? No Have the new owners listed to ANYONE and fixed issues? No They need to stop free for ever accounts- give a one month trial- supporting free loaders must cost time and effort Start answer support tickets Listen to existing customers Provide VALUE at the moment it is hardly worth 70 a year No way is it worth 105 a year. heres a prediction- this all singing all dancing AI they are pimping will result in an additional charge the way notion charges i.e 10 usd a month. Their feeble attempt at "aI clean up" is incredibly slow and of no value. I think someones realised they bought a lemming and are hoping most will just bend over and take a 50% increase. Cue the acolytes or those with a vested interest crawling out of the woodwork to explain how i am wrong/it is still worth it/it compares favourably with pricing of other products. Maybe it does but difference other products work, are improving and existing customers are not being financially violated violated. I suspect they are in for a shock as revenue plummets. Time to move on in November.

Its nothing about list or shortcuts whatever. It is broke. Notes still take forever to load Tasks are simply unreliable 'The so called developers obviously feel they will be left behind if they don't provide an AI option. The app has the potential to be a world beater but I suspect the team are out of their depth. To the EN Staffers who wander in and out of this forum- get ready if you don't fix the basics many will be VERY unforgiving and move. Get it fixed.

If they dont fix this app EN will have no "future" and this forum will be a ghost town.

I get the impression they are ignoring users and hurtling down a development path of building what they THINK we want. cue acolyte responding " This is not an official forum submit a support ticket"

How about "Thanks for support ticket" = Common courtesy "We are aware of the issues"= acknowledgement we are not all going mad "We are working a solution" = action is being taken "We will share developments on Forum" = rather than yet another update where they claim they have been fixing and tuning EN under the hood before rolling out "exciting new features" and no explanation of why they broke it in the first place. - Get the current version fixed - it is BROKEN They fail to realise that many here paying for professional etc use it as a tool. It's not a game or a nice to have. T - They need to wake up and remember paying customers will leave if it doesn't do the job required. Obviously they intend "managing" their PAYING customers the same way Evernote did, with contempt. Rant over .....now back to learning Notion and transferring data out of Evernote

Maybe Tell people what's happening here. So much for Bending Spoons being a high end company with an experienced technical team. Bit like a tv repair company buying a f1 team and trying to "fix" problems. I am SERIOUSLY looking at moving everything over to a combination of Notion and Obsidian. or dare I say it even Apple notes.

Significantly perhaps NO RESPONSE from Evernote "support" after 4 days. This is not good enough.

Ticket submitted- but I am actively looking for an alternative. I suspect they have not heard of the concept of "beta testing"...relying on customers to tested their flawed code. At they have maintained a degree of consistency and continue with the same approach as the previous mob.

I never thought I would say this but slow loading is making Evernote unusable for me. If I create a note it appears in the list of notes.....but no note.....after a while note appears.....maybe after 5 minutes I can paste content into the note...but it does not appear as snippet in list of notes. Web version seems better and borderline usable. Bending spoons need to stabilise/fix current system before rolling out any more " improvements". At the moment we are staring at a new high tec italian sports car..that either doesn't start or stalls as it chugs along at 2 mph. Please people don't insult my intelligence by telling me to submit a support ticket. EN is broke- BS read this forum- get it fixed or loose a lot of people. -MAC running latest Evernote

Same here...I thought it was just me but slow loading or does not load mac and web.....sometimes note counts out etc...something is broken.....needs a fix asap.

Well for example Like many i end up clipping whole web pages = i use AI to summarise and replace the content- even build a list of key points I do a lot more writing now within Evernote I can come with an initial idea of a blog post for example "how do you explain how to actually make some money on line" while out walking dog- send to evernote- get home .....run that expression through AI Get ai to generate a summary of an article about that...then a list of key points then some tweets...... If you are not writing then it is useful to say "please explain xxx in simple terms and provide citations and references" The more you use it the more you think mmmmm I can use AI to do that. And yes like it or not many on line are using it behind the scenes and not saying so. Disclaimer- This forum post was NOT written by AI

For those of us who use chat GPT in tools such as Notion/Reflect/obsidian etc you can now use it within the web browser version of Evernote ON A MAC. see https://anygpt.app/ I am not affiliated or connected this works and i find it really useful. Please dont start harassing me about wether AI is useful within EN IMHO it is and I use it. Others can take it or leave it but this is a simple elegant solution.

@PinkElephant Good Idea is it possible to insert a LINK/url into a sketch? I suspect not and a sketch/map/drawing will have to be generated externally perhaps with google docs?
