  1. i think he is talking about AI within todoist.......i havent found a use for it
  2. Notion 10 usd pm Mem 8 usd pm Reflect 8 usd pm Google docs free Obsidian free
  3. Good start it is 404 and you might want to explain what humata IS? 14.99 a month? Seriously?
  4. It looks like service providers might have to offer certain features whether they like it or not, because more and more users will start asking for them and even expect them. If the providers don't offer these features, users might switch to other options. Ideally, it would be great if the providers could give users the option to turn off these features or offer an easy-to-use no code coding method. One example of a service that does this is Filterize. In fact, Filterize must be a prime candidate for a buy out by EN/BS?
  5. Until EN implements AI export your notes to Notion and pay 10 usd a month to use their AI? Ask relevant questions within each note Other alternatives Obsidian AI Goole Docs AI Just thinking out loud.
  6. Clue is in thread title-"like Onenote" =Use Onenote. or dont Nobody actually cares here, you are howling at the moon.
  7. https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/customer customer noun [ C1 UK > /'kas.ta.ma'/ US M /'ks.ta.ma/ a person who buys goods or a service:
  8. Easy solution cant pay what everyone else pays you dont get it.
  9. Agree 100% . If they can provide service to someone on xxx for 10 usd a year....they can provide service to me for 10 usd a year. Anything else smacks suspiciously like discrimination based on Nationality The free service should last a month then a very low PAID BASIC service- basically an extension of free service. Again odd how many claim they cant afford xxxx but have internet access, sat tv, latest smart phone, latest fashion and often latest car. Lets get real if something costs xxx pay it or write your own alternative.
  10. This could be construed as controversial but, if that is the case then find a team of coders and write a BETTER all singing all dancing LOCAL hosted EN alternative....then sell it world wide for 25% of cost of EN. Great business model. BUT- you would be competing against a product with longevity AND a degree of reliability. I do not agree with adjusting prices geographically. Why should I pay MORE for the same product? It is a really bad business model.
  11. Free is worth what you pay for it....if less time was spent on free users paid users might get a better product and service.
  12. Thanks Gents So I cant include a "shortcut" to a specific tag within a note?
  13. Sorry if this is in wrong section I could not add to Desktop answers.... Im trying to create an individual "Dashboard" for each of several projects I am involved in. I can add links to files Tasks But I cannot figure out how to link to a NOTEBOOK or a a shortcut. Is this possible? I can use shortcuts at left hand side but list is getting too long Or I could use notes within Home page with filters but you cant have multiple "home" pages. So simple question is it possible to have a link to a NOTEBOOK which can be placed within notes? Am I missing the obvious? Thanks all.
  14. Bottom line is I can't find ANYTHING that does EVERYTHING EN does . Bending Spoons have obviously figured this out and know a percentage of users will put up with increase. Meanwhile we can all hope someone writes EN2- been a long time coming.
  15. Recurring tasks in Notion are a nightmare to figure out. I have an annual contract until November and I will be monitoring alternatives closely. Many alternatives charge around 10-12 a month say 120 a year. If EN want me to pay more I expect something in return. If I was a "Evernote ""Expert" " who made their living from promoting and explaining various EN functions I would be seriously worried and be looking at alternatives.
  16. Explained a lot more. eloquently than I did. If you are using or would like to use EN for idea management and creation ( check out Linking your thinking via google) then EN is years behind other apps. If they want 2 x money they need to up their game.
  17. Get a copy of obsidian (free) install text generator plugin ( free) and have a play. It will open your eyes to potential usage.
  18. I have it but it is so awkward to use = not easy=I would like En to implement [[ ]] which would then link to an existing note or section of not OR create a note. They then need to implement AI. They argument that En will never do.......xxx are nolonger acceptable.
  19. At the risk of being controversial i couldn't care less about 1st/2nd/3rd world issues how many times do you see people stepping off boats around the world with mobile phones and internet....as i was driving through slums in Luanda for example I saw they might have no running water or toilet but they have a sky tv dish! So I don't really care where someone lives or about their perceived "challenges". Anyway I digress. Evernote is a tool. It does a job. It could be improved and if they want to ramp up the costs significantly then many ( myself included) will be off to alternatives unless I start seeing things like easy bidirectional linking, manual sorting and AI- I have google alerts set up monitoring alternatives so have some ideas as to where I would go. I DO think they should do away with the moronic FREE package. Yes make it free for a say a month with say max 50 notes then you pay. They must spend a fortune providing the service and "support" to free users. If you cant figure out you need it after a month pull your data out and go elsewhere. You don't rent a mobile phone and then say not sure I will need it but Ill keep using it on a free plan if you don't mind. I suspect the new owners are getting rid of the freewheelers and fantasists who have "worked there" and i hope they now start looking at how to drag the elephant into the world of 2023.
  20. Thanks for that- Im thinking major use is if i forward emails to EN inbox FI will tag and then move if required to relevant notebook. Need to watch some videos😕
  21. As a user of Evernote, I believe that the platform remains a valuable and versatile tool, and I have no plans to switch to another platform. Despite trying other options, I have found that they lack the ease and functionality that I have come to rely on with Evernote. Consequently, I am exploring various automation tools for Evernote and am particularly interested in hearing from those who have experience with Filterize. In this regard, I have a few questions that I would like to pose to the community. Firstly, is Filterize easy to use? Secondly, is it reliable? Given recent changes to Evernote, has Filterize kept up and continued to evolve alongside the platform? Additionally, I would like to know how others are using Filterize, and any contributions or insights would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and input.
