  1. Tried to share a notebook for the first time and got a red box with this error. I searched here and saw a few people report it last year, but not much response. Does anyone successfully use this feature? Sharing a page worked fine.
  2. Another warning about this bug, and it's still there in 10.33.4 Windows. When it freezes, your clicks and keystrokes are still getting buffered. When you break out of it by clicking on the menu or system tray, everything you have done up to that point executes. So, don't just start banging on things at random.
  3. Been having the same issue. I hadn't tried the menu, but clicking the icon in the system tray a second time will usually work.
  4. Thanks, I'll do that if no other solution, but TBH, that got real old many versions ago. If they can't write a proper update routine, they need to hire someone who can.
  5. Once again, an update has destroyed my default notebook designation on Android. It still works on Win app. The practical result of this is I can' record a new audio or video unless I first select a notebook. My default notebook doesn't even show on Android, but there is a blank space where it belongs. I know I have fixed this twice in the past, but don't remember how. I looked through menus on the win app and right-clicked on the notebook, but can't figure out how to reset it. Thanks. A year and a half later and this unified platform is really working out great for the users.
  6. Sorry, but I have to agree with the OP on this one. I had a similar experience with Costco. I went there last week and they gave me a free sample of a cracker with some lobster dip on it. It was delicious, so I decided to support them with my famous word of mouth advertising. But when I tried to leave the store with a cart full of crackers and lobster dip, they demanded I pay for it. Why are they giving this stuff away if in the end it's just some trap by corporate greed to take my money? I have stopped supporting these greedy corporate thugs and their ilk. I refuse to give my loyal business to any store that won't give me free food.
  7. Plenty of space. I'll keep checking for updates. I see Christian is on v12 of Android.
  8. Long touch screen to bring up widgets menu. Scroll to Evernote. Choose Tasks widget. Widget Settings comes up with drop down asking me which Widget I want. I choose Tasks again. At this point, either nothing happens or Filter and Sort by drop downs appear. Defaults are fine, but no Done button. Choose other options. No Done button. No way to do anything else so I exit. Same with Notes and Shortcuts Widgets. EN 10.26 (1120549) Android 11 on Moto G Fast Phone. Samsung tablet works as expected.
  9. Widgets on Desktop. It worked fine on tablet. On the phone, after selecting the widget, you get the dropdown asking which widget, then nothing. No button. The dropdown stays and only option is to quit the screen. Same version EN and Android. Different manufacturer. Looks good, could use it on the phone. I'll try some more troubleshooting tomorrow.
  10. No matter which widget you pick, it wants you to tell it again which widget you want. But no way to accept, or Okay. Might be a good idea, but it doesn't work, which means it wasn't tested. Shocked again Android v11
  11. Yeah, mine has been pretty good as long as I remember to let it sync before I need it. But yesterday, there were a bunch of old tasks on the list. No amount of syncing would solve the problem. Had to (once again) blow away my data and reload. But how about the size of that elephant, huh?
  12. Just an observation I've been meaning to make. Wouldn't it be easier to hear out thoughts about a specific topic if you didn't lock the thread immediately? Just curios.
  13. 10.28. This is primarily a bug fix release 10.27. This is primarily a bug fix release 10.26.This is primarily a bug fix release
  14. I currently do a full back enex of all files monthly using Legacy since you can grab more than 50 files at once. Does the enex backup per notebook work in 10? I haven't tested that yet.
  15. Wow, this is an old one. To me, the solution would be to fix the Export Notebook to PDF. This would not only give me a good backup procedure allowing me to leave Legacy after a year of the "work in progress." It would give me an easy way to archive data, but still keep it close at hand and easily searchable. I reported this bug back in August. After tedious back and forth with support, it was finally added "to the the existing issue report." Not sure why I had to prove it was still broken if there was an existing issue report, but there it is. Tested yesterday with a small notebook, 76 notes, specifying start each note on a new page. It produced a 10 page PDF. Useless.
  16. I thought I had without success, but I'll take another look. That would be great.
  17. There are two problems with mobile sync. One, it doesn't happen often consistently. I do most changes on desktop and I have checked mobile a few minutes later and they are there. But more often, I look at it days later and they are not. They sync button needs to be on the main screen, or at the very least on the main menu. Right now, on Android, I have to click the menu bottom left, then click the gear icon, then click Sync, and then for no particular reason, I have to click the only sub-option Sync now. If there were other options it would make more sense. Maybe Sync Now Sync Eventually Sync Whenever You Can Get Around To It Or my preference, Sync Last Week When I Changed the Data
  18. I'm fine with the Calendar integration today, although two-way sync would be nice. I rarely put tasks on my calendar. Fleshing out the tasks themselves would be more helpful, priorities, sorting, recurring, etc.
  19. Doesn't work for me in Windows. If I clear the sort, the selected note reverts to top of the list. But since a lot of other software works the same way, I never saw it as a problem.
  20. I've needed both sides of this argument at different times for different reasons, but if I want to work on the current note without highlighting as the OP asked, I simply open the note in its own window as a few people have suggested. I have no idea what "window management purgatory" is. I have multiple windows of everything and many open tabs in browser windows most of the time. That's what Windows is for. Otherwise, I'd find me a good used 286 machine and run DOS.
  21. Just tested sync back and forth between desktop and Android. It wasn't instant, but was 'quick enough'. 20-30s each direction.
  22. Just tried it on mine, Win 10, EN 25.10.6 and the X closed the program, but left background processes running, as expected. Are you sure you don't have it pinned to taskbar and are looking at that?
  23. I try to use the mobile app for viewing only. Most of the time I try to add or edit info on the phone, I will get a conflict due to the painfully slow syncing on both ends. Either my last edit on desktop hasn't synced across, or the phone edit won't get back to the desktop for hours, if not days. Interestingly, about 20% of the time, the sync is instant. I assume it is a timing issue, but having the ability on both ends to force a sync would solve it.
