  1. Example: <a href="aaaaaaaaaa" style="color:#69aa35;">2020-11-30 [bbbbb]</a> where aaaaaaa is the URL, and bbbbbb is the note title This feature was lost with the Version 10 product The request applies both to the Internal Link and the Public Share Link
  2. My estimate is at least 11 months Right, but the point is no one has to panic today Also, before the Legacy product sunsets I will have completed switching services I may chose Version 10; the work-in-progress will be advanced by then
  3. Evernote is a cloud service. The master database is stored on the servers, and accessed by both Legacy and Version 10
  4. What makes you think you're going to lose data? I haven't a problem with Evernote losing data, but I always back up my data; daily incremental and weekly full >>I have no access to my notes without a GOOD connection Both Legacy and Version 10 support offline access to our data
  5. To prevent Evernote interpreting this as a list; insert a space before the checkbox
  6. The in-app links ("evernote:///view.blah-blah") are working for me, both internal Evernote and external applications I use them all the time What issues are you having? >>I will try doing a system restore back to Thursday If this reverts to your Evernote database, it would have been better to backup the raw database folders Also, the master database is stored on the servers. You are updating a local copy The sync process will undo the restore
  7. Simplistic, but the index is something like that I should have mentioned it's not case sensitive; so jill, jack, little
  8. Are you sure you want to use "the latest version of Evernote" (Version 10) It's a work-in-progress and imho not ready for general use You might be happier using the Legacy product
  9. If you're online, searches are executed on the server Yes, there is a search index of "every single word" - it excludes "stop words" like the/and/or - it excludes special characters The search index also covers attachments, including OCR of images
  10. For me, it's a matter of using the Legacy product - there's no change to my workflow The Version 10 product is a work-in-progress; imho it's not ready for general use I'm not considering using it until the work is completed
  11. I'm still using the Legacy product, and have no issues The Version 10 product is a work-in-progress; not ready for general use. I'll consider switching when the work is completed
  12. Your post has been merged with an ongoing discussion I just tested with a Pages document No problem with updating the document, it saved automatically and updated the note attachment file
  13. Backupery is a good product and works well with Evernote Legacy Personally, my backups are automated using an AppleScript (Mac) Daily incremental and Weekly Full using Evernote's export feature (HTML format)
  14. I missed the "any time soon", but regardless the Legacy product is working well for me in the present I have no concerns in the present I backup my data; I have not experienced data loss, but I know I can recover Before Legacy sunsets, I will switch to a new product Work on Version 10 will have advanced, and may well be the product I chose
  15. The Evernote Legacy product only offered two export options: .enex and .html Evernote Version 10 only offers an .enex export option, with additional options promised
  16. I'm not much of a font user, but see "sans serif" is one of the font choices
  17. Never say never - we've been told export upgrades are pending The HTML export option is still available with the Legacy product
  18. Inline anchors are not currently supported by Evernote - there is a request discussion at https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/121581-links-within-notes/page/4/#elControls_263025_menu
  19. I understand backlinks and do it manually and automated with an Applescript (Mac) Can you add details for the "quick-add any block or link/mention page, add date or anything else"
  20. I also use Evernote for task management, stored as individual project and task notes It's not completely clear what your !.n tags are, but I gather it's date related Personally, I sort on due date; stored in the Reminder feature The Reminder feature also supports non-dated items I use this for active Next Actions I still have a problem with priorities Currently I red flag items tagged Important/Urgent (Eisenhower matrix) As I mentioned in your other post, I don't limit myself to Evernote's presentation of data The note-list paradigm is just too constricting For presentation, I take my data to spreadsheets My GTD spreadsheet displays the data in a gantt timeline view; sorted by date
