  1. An answer in a separate thread suggests checking that Edit Protection is disabled in the app settings... Seems to have worked for some...
  2. Perhaps they do, perhaps they don't. The quote you provided indicates that they are aware of the issue (which doesn't affect everyone) and that they are giving it attention. I've not seen any indication of which version of the app those with the problem are using. I'm on v10.13 and do not seem to suffer the View Only issue that has affected others.
  3. I don't believe that Evernote v10 has the command line options that previously existed. You should contact support directly for advice.
  4. You are the second person reporting this issue but, thankfully, I haven't suffered the same experience. Very sadly, printing in Evernote v10 is dysfunctional and not a recommended process. You have the choice to install the legacy version and print from there, export the note you wish to print to HTML and use a web browser to print from there or follow @gazumped's suggestion. If you search around the v10 forums you will find a number of printing issues highlighted and none have, yet, been addressed.
  5. Hi @betsy50 - I am bemused by your printing issue. As already noted printing in Evernote v10 isn't in a good place yet but I haven't seen or heard of anyone with the specific experience you described. I just made a test print on my PC and the scroll bar wasn't present. This looks like a case where a support ticket would be a good way forward. Of course you don't have to have both versions of Evernote installed - although some of us do in order to follow the developments with v10. You can just uninstall v10 and keep going with the so-called legacy version as you have done previously. It isn't going away in the immediate future. Another option for cleaner printing in v10 is to right click the note and choose Export. Select the HTML option and then print from that document in a web browser. Not a satisfactory solution but it does work and would avoid the need to have v10 AND legacy both installed to do printing.
  6. If you follow the existing threads on this topic you'll see that there is a problem that is being worked on. I'd follow those threads to see when a resolution is found. I haven't, so far, suffered so can't comment otherwise. It would always help to know which version of the app you are using.
  7. As @PinkElephant says... However, your experience isn't quite what I have. Can you describe the process you follow to do the print? It would also help to know which version of the software you are currently using.
  8. If, after a wait, do a clean uninstall - including deleting the data directory, download the latest desktop version (currently 10.17) and reinstall.
  9. In fact, if the login/out process doesn't work, I'd try a clean uninstall - including deleting the data directory - then reinstall.
  10. You'll have to wait until it is available for you. It isn't even announced yet so on this occasion I seem to have been at the head of the queue. My experience is that it can take up to a week from being announced before Google Play releases it to me - other times it is almost instant.
  11. That feature is still as you have previously noted - the word is deleted. Might be best to raise that as a separate thread or add to one previously started on the specific issue to give it better profile.
  12. Or, as we've noted previously, a change at GBoard side of things - or both. For now the Gboard thing has been resolved
  13. I got v10.13 today and the keyboard issue with GBoard appears to be fixed again
  14. It is reasonably well documented that it is possible to adjust the number of notes that can be selected at one time. I have it set to 500 which is more than enough. The 50 figure is set to accomodate performance against function. Search through the forums and you'll find the tweak you need to make the adjustment that you need. Otherwise, we still have the legacy program which does everything that Evernote ever did previously without any change.
  15. The v10 roll out may seem to have been going on for longer but it is still less than a year. Whilst there isn't a 'setting' to enable this you can simply add a shortcut in the Windows startup folder and it will start when you login to Windows.
  16. I don't believe so. These are created as user support forums but occasionally staff do jump up. Paying subscribers have direct access to the staff support team through the support ticket system.
  17. This experience has been true since the arrival of v10 Scanning always goes to the default notebook in v10 unless your scanner program is capable to giving you a different option. In the legacy version it scanned to the currently selected notebook.
  18. Some methods of attaching a document to a note strip the file suffix. Right click on the document and choose rename - if that has happened add .pdf or whatever to the filename and that is likely to provide the solution. THis isn't, apparently, a requirement in the Mac world.
  19. This is a long documented thing. At the moment, using v10 the only option is to set the view manually. Alternatively, if this is a key issue for your workflow then you can revert to the legacy application on desktop.
  20. No update to the support ticket. Bugfix 10.17.6 has, sadly, not resolved the issue
  21. As often noted, these are Community based peer support forums and we can't fix anything. Your best approach would be a support ticket.
  22. Yes, you can even run the legacy version of Evernote alongside v10. They operate with separate data files and directories so you can do some operations in legacy and others in v10. The only thing to be cautious of is working on the same note in both versions simultaneously since this can create duplicate notes which end up out of sync. Since all versions of Evernote use the cloud as the authoritative repository you can switch to the Android client, or for that matter, any other including the web interface. Web is the usual place to check that data hasn't really been lost rather then not displaying in v10. Since legacy is with us for the time being you have time to make decisions.
  23. I have seen some workarounds documented to achieve this but I don't think that there is a plan to make this change at anytime soon.
  24. The issue as you describe it is almost always caused by incorrect login credentials. Raise a support ticket for Plus/Premium users evernote.com/contact
  25. Yes, I was trying to give a simple example of adding a task entirely by typing what I needed to include with dates, flags, reminders etc. without having to take my hands off the keyboard. The point I was trying to make was the ability to enter data quickly and efficiently.
