OK: This is a user supported forum so while you get more (or less) useful suggestions from us fellow users, and developers and other employees do read the posts here, you're not establishing a place in the support queue from which to grab Evernote's attention. If you have a problem, contact support. You'll get a ticket number and a direct channel to Evernote. If you're a Basic user you should at least be able to raise a bug report - see comments here: https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/51807-best-practices-submitting-a-support-ticket/

Heading 1, Heading 2 etc
gazumped replied to Chris Ridgeway's question in Evernote for Mac Requests (Versions 7.14 and under)
Hi. You're missing headings, certainly. There are various add-ins which allow you to format your content more effectively than the Evernote standard, and if you can use Markdown, there are additional apps which might help like Marxico: https://marxi.co/ Evernote is still developing its editing features, so more will be available; but for the moment what you see is all you got. -

Google Map Links Broken
gazumped replied to weaverh's topic in Evernote for Android Issues (Versions 8.13.3 and under)
Hi. Might be a Google Maps recent change - I'm using a different app that's lost its map links too... I'd recommend anyone who has the problem to send in a bug report... -
Login problems "Remember me" option is ignored.
gazumped replied to Vladyslav Sitalo's topic in Web Client Issues
Hi. The 'remember' option is usually driven by one or more cookies, which your browser security settings might reject. You could try clearing the cookies from your browser (in browser settings somewhere) to see whether that helps... If you have two-factor switched on that also might have an effect - it might intentionally end a connection if unused for a certain length of time. It's not a bug, but it's worth contacting support to see if there's a way around this... if you're a Basic user and no-one more knowledgeable comments here, try tweeting @EvernoteHelps -
Wow - didn't even realise that was gone. The icon I selected in my widget was for a 'quick note' but it has an icon that looks like a microphone with movement lines - which was pretty much like what I previously chose for the actual speech-to-text feature. I can see that with voice control being increasingly built into the handset, it makes sense to use the OS feature, but is Evernote ever going to bring back the in-app version or has it now gone for good?

Sorry - so many queries, so little time. Posted to the wrong thread.

Evernote "Backup/Export" in markdown
gazumped replied to davidgerva's topic in Evernote Integrations
I tried out Backupery when it first went out in beta (and was free) - I believe they do export the whole database to ENEX, although it could well have changed. I'm happy enough with a daily snapshot of my Databases folder, though I think quite a few folks have commented that they would like a way to see notes outside of Evernote. If you need someone to test this version on, I'll give it a shot if you like... -
Not sure about changing the UI to any degree, but having a way to create links (and if necessary new notes) easily by [[bracketing]] words and some way to maintain and/or check for and repair broken links would be good...

Tag Synonyms
gazumped replied to bender83's question in Evernote for Windows Requests (Versions 6.25.1 and under)
Would Parent/ Child tags help sort that out? If you stack the variations under one standard definition? Then choosing the parent tag will (subject to settings) turn up all the child tags. -
Oops - and then there was this... (I don't remember what that was, but clearly it's not around any more... 🤔 I deleted a dead link..)

Feature Request: Show on Web Clipper icon if current URL is already in Evernote
gazumped replied to Akei's question in Web Clipper Requests
Hi. What about clipping different selections from the same website or updated pages? And would you want the site clipped first and then to wait while Evernote does a search of existing pages to check that this URL hasn't been seen before? Or would you want Evernote not to clip until it's done the check? I had a case today where, as the result of someone mentioning a useful Search cheat sheet in another thread - https://www.cheatography.com/senseful/cheat-sheets/evernote/ - I went and grabbed it. Turns out I already had two copies - one clipped in 2012 and one in 2014. I kept the latest one. Personally I'm in favor of fast clips, with (maybe) Context to show me if I have any existing notes that relate to the item I just added. If ever I'm in doubt I'll clip anyway; if I ever notice (as I have a couple more times today) that a search brings up duplicate pages, I'll delete them. -
Sorry that you're still having issues - what was the last constructive thing that support came back to you with?

Hi. Have you tried working in a browser other than Chrome?

AFAIK there is no current way other than freehand highlighting or drawing a box around the content. I'll vote for this feedback as a feature request though... -
@José R & @AronsLaw - I did say a couple of years ago: - and it looks like that still applies. If you're business subscribers you'll have access to contact support for assistance - not sure whether they will be able to help, but it's worth asking... if you do find a fix, please post it here for general information. Meantime and as no help at all in this situation I can only bang the drum of personal and local backups for valuable information...
