  1. You are, with all respect, using a free platform. There being "no such thing as a free lunch" - you might expect that Evernote will want active users to either pay or leave!
  2. Hmph. I moved the post that started this most recent discussion here - please post any more responses there...
  3. Hmmn. I attempted to move a thread here after this post since it generated the following responses... ...but all I got was the initial post, split from the original thread. Hopefully, if there's more discussion of the web issue, it can happen here...
  4. Hi. It's not a bug - just a consequence of being much more network-driven these days. If you're using v10 everything is now synced back to the server and if your connection drops or stutters at any stage, the server will save what it received up to that point and then start again. The new note may -or may not- include most of what you were working on, but you might want to compare the two before deleting any. This isn't much of a problem if you're making quick notes, but if you make longer notes you could consider using a word-processor and saving the document file as an attachment to your note. Your document file is created locally, so won't be interrupted by any online issues.
  5. Have you followed the 'unsync a device' link? Evernote may have mistaken one of your existing devices for a new connection, and now - apparently - thinks your Android is number 3...
  6. Don't know how many folks here also manage a Teams / Salesforce account. You're entitled to email (and chat - depending on timezones) Support: try them!
  7. Hi. What version of web clipper are you using? (Check Settings in the clipper window...) I'm on 7.16 and still see the 'simplified' option on desktop.
  8. A very good point from @PinkElephant!
  9. If you deleted the contents of an existing note, Note History should get some or all of the content back if you subscribe - even if only for a month...
  10. Hi. Two answers - "It depends" and "you're about to find out". Your notes were moved to the Trash notebook when the notebook was deleted. The notebook metadata was lost, hence your needing to re-allocate them to a notebook. I don't know whether any tags were also compromised - you might want to check that. But when the notes were "deleted", they were just moved; and - depending on your settings and connection at the time - that movement was synced with the server, so the web version would also have shown the notes in the Trash. By moving them back again you've (at worst) synced a few bytes of metadata on their location - the notes were already on the server, they've just been moved back again. If any other devices have synced since this drama, they'll show the notes in Trash, and then after another sync, they'll move back. No fuss, definitely no drama. Evernote is of course aware that all this happened - it's just working as planned. I could, of course be wrong... if so, you'll be able to tell me all about it when you next try Android...
  11. Hi. If you have 25 images on a mobile you probably wouldn't be able to read them without a microscope. If you tap the image you can see and swipe left you should page through the series - and page back again as necessary. Is there another option you would prefer?
  12. Are you saying that a note is not created? That the content doesn't download? That you don't see the URL to go back and clip again later?
  13. Save it as a zip file (with or without a password) and it's hidden...
  14. Out of 200M+ users I'm surprised that only two people raised a query. Millions of people have been users on various websites that have been hacked in the last few years for email, user names and passwords, and your phantom attempted logins are probably a symptom of the general black hat community trying random details to find what accounts are vulnerable. Basic protections like 2 factor auth will lock that down for you.
  15. Hi. Subscribers can raise support queries here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new and Free users here - https://twitter.com/evernotehelps (or use the feedback option in the mobile client).
  16. Appimages seem acceptable on all versions of Linux - just adjust the file permissions to allow it to run. Any issues, raise it with Support - this is still in Beta!
  17. Moved to Evernote Teams (formerly known as Business) thread as being more relevant. We're (mainly) user-to-user Forums, so I'm not sure if anyone will have the experience to help here - I'd suggest raising this with Support
  18. Moved to the Windows thread. Just as a thought - you say you reinstalled Evernote on your new drive; did you backup the old drive and move the whole folder across? Or simply download and install Evernote and leave the server to rebuild your database? Try making a change on your new installation and see whether that shows up when you sign in to the app via a browser.
  19. Hi. You could try uninstalling / restarting your device / reinstalling - in case this is some sort of isolated glitch - but otherwise, reach out to Support - you may help them find and eliminate this issue.
  20. Hi. Is your concern to save the existing contents of the folder, or to go back to using Scannable as before? If you're wanting to scan to Evernote then the app camera function should do the job while you contact Support (which is not us) to report the issue.
