  1. Hi. These Forums are mainly user 2 user - subscribers can raise support queries here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new and Free users here - https://twitter.com/evernotehelps (or use the feedback option in the mobile client).
  2. No problem - when you get a response, please share it back here: we can be more helpful to the next query then!
  3. Hi. This is a - mainly - individual user-supported Forum with (AFAIK) only a few Teams subscribers. Any backup suggestions we can offer might not reassure your professional Compliance team. You really need to speak to Business support on this - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new I also see CustomerSuccess@evernote.com as a possible contact...
  4. @Stacey That was my guess at the time - mainly remembering the "Clearly" extension which got dropped several years ago, but would do exactly that. Can't find any multi-page websites to try it out though. Tried a search for "next page" to see whether that would prompt any suggestions - seems like there's a lot of software out there for making web pages easier to navigate.. (The alternative option - that if you clip several different pages, all the clips wind up in one note - seems not to work. I just tried it with three clips and got three notes. It's pretty redundant to have this mode anyway - just clip the different content and merge the notes...) I'll keep an eye out for a suitable multi-page to test! Please let us know if you find a definitive answer...
  5. Hi. Start with https://evernote.com/download - log in with the same credentials you use online. It's broadly the same as the web version, just with a few extras like export.
  6. Don't know exactly what @idoc had in mind, but it looks like part of it was Tools > Options > Search in Legacy. My search as you type delay is set to zero so I have to hit <return> to start it off, but at least it doesn't go off on a romp of its own if I mistype a keyword or hesitate too long.
  7. Hi. Device? OS? Tried using the web page access? Sure you're using the correct login? (It's regrettably easy to set up a brand new account when trying to log in to an existing one)

  9. Hi. To rebuild your desktop local database: Go to File > Sign Out [name] from the menu bar. Select the "Remove my Evernote data from this device" option Click Sign out. Restart your computer. Sign back in to Evernote

  11. This means that for reasons of its own, the browser has restricted access to this page. That's unlikely to be negotiable - but you can take a screen shot to preserve the content, and the browser 'print' function may be able to give you a copy via a PDF file...
  12. Hi. Who did you buy the upgrade from? And most of the Evernote team have been on holiday or the past few days, so it's possible things are working slowly for the moment. Give it another try if you haven't already...
  13. Hi. Are you logged into the same account? It's strangely easy to set up a new account while trying to log into an existing one, so it may help to log out and back in again. Plus if you have only just installed the desktop app, it takes a while to set up the background caches and duplicate notes. Give it a few minutes...
  14. Well 1) This seems to be confined to a maximum of two users so far, and the other comment above mentioned this page - Tips for troubleshooting syncing issues - which might help you. And 2)... As at least one if you is a free user, you also might want to check on how many devices your account is supporting, and whether you have exceeded any upload or size limits. 15. Hi. If your friend can remember the user name / email address and the password, they should be able to log into the account unless it has been deactivated*. All data should still be there. If they have forgotten the login details and no longer have access to the original address, your friend should contact Support**. * Reactivate your Evernote account ** These Forums are mainly user 2 user - subscribers can raise support queries here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new and Free users here - https://twitter.com/evernotehelps (or use the feedback option in the mobile client).
  16. Hi. Please contact Support on this - as far as we know Evernote discontinued their points system over a year ago now.
  17. You haven't mentioned images until now... Evernote displays images in a web-page style, but email would normally just add JPG or PNG image files as attachments. The two methods aren't compatible. You could try adding a screen-shot of the note to your email, which would show the text and any graphics exactly as you see them. Or you could share the note itself. Use Evernote Helper for quick notes and screenshots Share notes
  18. Hi. Best I can tell, you're the only person with this issue, so something connected with your local system appears to be the problem. As a first check I'd suggest you sign out of Evernote, making sure that you do NOT keep a local copy of your notes. Power your system off and on again and log back in. Evernote will take a few minutes to rebuild the local cache, but should operate normally after that. If your system is still not syncing properly I'd suggest reporting the issue to Support. 19. ?? "Not able" - you get an error message / the app hangs / the screen explodes /... what happens??
  20. That's part of the "sign out of V10" process - we don't have one of those in 6.25 - hence all the uninstalling stuff.
  21. Hi. As you have Legacy (6.25.2) on your desktop already, I'd suggest trying to refresh that before getting more extreme - sign out of v10 and tick the 'remove my data from this machine' option to reset that search index - next time you log back in, you'll have to wait for a short while as Evernote recreates it's indexes and temporary files, but it will have a new lease of life. For the same effect with 6.25.2 (legacy), uninstall with something like Revo Uninstaller Free to remove all Evernote's support files, then restart your device and re-download / reinstall Legacy to proceed... But. If all else fails and nuking from orbit is the only option - uninstall everything and go back to the pre-legacy production version. Make sure you disable updates in Tools > Options... http://cdn1.evernote.com/win6/public/Evernote_6.25.1.9091.exe Good luck - Let us know how you get on!
  22. Which prompts a lightbulb moment - we occasionally get requests to provide limited access to a shared page - it hadn't occurred to me before that if you send out a publicly shared note (or a link to a public share) which basically says: please request access to <this information> by clicking the link, you could then allow individual users access - or not - by email address; and you'd know who has actually accessed that link. (Sorry for the brief side line there)
  23. Definitely report this to Support - they'll be back working in a couple of days, but with a backlog of holiday requests to work through... It looks like the Evernote system is working correctly - someone attempting access to a note via it's 'share' link would get a link to the effect of "you're not authorised to see this note - ask the author for permission" with a disguised link to your email address. The attempted access might have been intended for another URL, but occurred through a misquoted or mistyped address. Check the details of that note to make sure the share link is not active.
