  1. 1 - please edit your post above to delete the random copy of the other posts in this thread 2 - please explain exactly what you did to try and fix your issue in Windows 10
  2. ? You're a quoting 4 year old issues? What device/ OS / Evernote version are you currently using/
  3. Hi. First; if it's updating every day, your Evernote is broken. Please uninstall using Revo Uninstaller (Win) or Appcleaner (Mac), power your device off and back on, and re-download and reinstall from Evernote.com. Second we're mainly other users here, so have no idea for what's planned. Try contacting Support for more on that, though I would not have thought that any markers are planned. Maybe you could try creating your notes in Word and attaching the file to your notes to save a little processing time?
  4. Yes - sorry if I wasn't clear; that's exactly the process. The template includes both title format and tags which can be quickly inserted in the relative fields. (Hmmn. Maybe Evernote could revisit how Templates work at some stage - having that done automagically would be awesome! I feel a feedback coming on....)
  5. ...and I do the reverse; have templates for various classes of note which include the required tags as a comma delimited line - ie <tag1>,<tag2>,<tag3>. Go to notebook, create new note, copy paste tags to the bottom field, and type (or copy) title and content. If there's a standard emoji or phrase for the title, it can be the first line of your template and just a click away from insertion to the title.
  6. If you only use Evernote for basic note-taking, then you're probably better off with another simpler (and cheaper) product. AI is not a magic wand - it needs lots of training input to get used to users' needs in general and your needs in particular.
  7. Evernote's AI Summary is a work in progress. Don't like it? - Don't use it. Similar for search - there's a feedback button there: if you get anomalous results, tell Evernote about it (we're mainly other users here) and it will get better. AI's need to be trained - the more people asking questions, the more accurate it will become.
  8. I don't think that was a secret... and yes - since you clearly don't need any of the bells and whistles - you should definitely use a simpler note taker. Had you done a little more research, you might have realised that the "Italian company" is worth several hundred million of any local currency so I think they're managing to restrain any urges to self-destruct quite well. Bye!
  9. It's not a bookmark tool. Clipper will give you (more or less) any part of any web page as a permanent record in your data. In the case of LinkedIn it starts with the profile picture and link. By using the other options you can add whatever other information you might need from the profile page.
  10. Yes - one of the other benefits of subscribing is access to email support. Try https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new and look for the 'guest' option instead of logging in.
  11. Hmmn. One thing I forgot to mention was 'tooltips' - the pop-ups in the titles column and elsewhere (showing the full content of the line) get in the way and in many cases prevent me clicking the item without playing tag with the label.
  12. ? I think if you are using the inteface, you count as a tester! I reported it.
  13. If you're arguing that you want to use Note History without paying a subscription, you need to have that conversation with Support. We're mainly other users around here. The example you quoted is fairly easy to fix by simple editing, but I guess if you had a lot of content affected that way it could take a while to correct.
  14. Agreed - that column's stuck although there are 'movable' bars each side of the Titles column, they do not allow changes.
  15. Hi. Have you searched to see whether the content was synced as part of the update? Were you adding new notes, or updating existing ones?
  16. Hi. In the same way that the 'all notes' display shows... well, all notes in all notebooks - the Tasks display shows all tasks. Since you can tag individual notes, the way to see all related task notes is to tag them individually so they're easy to search, and / or create a Table of Contents list so you can jump between them. I use a saved search.
  17. Hi. As I understood it, free users with more than 50 notes and 1 notebook should still be able to see and edit their notes. What happens when you try? If you see an 'update now!' message is there a 'continue to...' option somewhere?
  18. My browser refuses to touch the http:// link, but adding the "s" makes the difference. I reported it to the Forum admins for them to decide. - And if anyone is still using Legacy as their daily driver I have some radium cough mixture you can have...
  19. Sounds like your database is corrupted. There's a fix for that... To fix occasional errors with installs or updates on laptops or desktops - plus issues with speed or lag or corrupted data. 1 - Make sure your notes are synced up to date 2 - Exit Evernote (if you can) / delete data from device 3 - Uninstall app with Appcleaner (Mac) or Revo Uninstaller Free (Win) 4 - Power device off / allow 10 seconds / power back on 5 - Download latest Evernote from Evernote.com 6 - Reinstall. It will take a little while for the app to be fully operational Additional Checks: Verify Evernote's Hardware Acceleration is set to ON - go to Tools > Settings > Preferences > Application and scroll to the bottom. The "hardware acceleration disabled" box should be UNticked, but if you're having issues change that setting and restart the device. (Come back and change it again if that doesn't help!) If you have any issues deleting Evernote data, see: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/1500004231762-Remove-Evernote-data-from-your-Mac-or-Windows-device
  20. No, apparently it's not. That link doesn't work for me on Win 11. Even if it did, the chances of the app syncing with Evernote's servers at all, or for longer than a few hours seem pretty bad. So why don't we accept that this old, unsupported tech has finally reached the scrap heap and stop posting pointless links? Like horse-drawn transport, Legacy had it's day, and was even preferable to modern vehicles in some ways (especially if you like roses); but taking a horse out on a modern freeway is not a good idea...
  21. Those sneaky little hobbitses seem to have fixed that overnight! Obviously work is ongoing...
  22. Hi. -And hmmn... I'm not a Mac user so hang on for one of my colleagues here to chime in; but an uninstall / reinstall might help you.
