  1. Now we have EN web version (10.4.2)... ... and still no more infos what for.
  2. Chrome-Addin "evercuts" now is available in Version v1.7 . Shortcuts like [Alt] +[m] for moving note to other notebook or [Alt] +[Del] for (instantly) deleting note are working again in actual EN web version (10.4.2). By the way: Ever checked and honoured the amazing shortcut and markdown support in the DropBox-Paper-Web-Editor? (open DropBox-Paper and just press [Ctr] +[Shift]+[/] english keyboard or [#] with german keyboard for for options and infos) I whish EN could do so as well and would supply us all with helpful keyboard-driven functions in a similar way...
  3. Whats up? Has web version 10.4.0 been withdrawn meanwhile? Seems like version 10.3.1 is active again...
  4. I'am having big issues with the updated web application version 10.4.0 as well: (Instant) synching of edited and changed notes in the web version seems to be broken, at least not reliable any more: Changes seem not to be saved and written to the EN www.servers. This led in my case to repeated data loss (luckily reconstructable..) I permanently get old versions of meanwhile more than once updated notes when updating / reloading the web frontend. No matter and not difference if I check out and check in, clear cache or try to use FireFox instead of Chrome. This way web version 10.4.0 is simply not usable - Please fixe this immediatly!
  5. Yes, that is the annoying thing with the new web version: it seems to load all metadata of the personal database in a kind of big cached data-storage in the browser. This may lead to better search performance but may cause troubles and big delay with really big EN-databases and cost memory as well as energy. Not a problem in my case, just about 8.5k notes, part of them more or less regulary deleted. With this size the new web version is even a good way to use the modernized editor without having to change to the actual desktop version on windows pc or Mac...
  6. Once again there is a new Evernote for web version, this time: V.10.4.0 And once again there are so far no informations bei EN, when this was released, which issues are (hopefully) solved and which new features should be available with this new version. Wouldn"t it be good and heplful, to supply all users and custumers by company-hosted and maintained informative release notes for the EN web version as well, best with history... ? (This could be another subpage, pefectly added to https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058361833-Evernote-release-notes) This could efficiently canalize lots of discussions an questions about the Evernote for web version and help to sort out issues...
  7. Could we move or convert this issue to requests? May be it will get more and appropriate attention there. This issue may be made by - hopefully temporarily - design...
  8. Be careful, what you are calling out for!!! There surely will be a reason why EN didn't roll out an Android version 10 so far. (Even though the screenshots on Google Play store obviously are allready actualized based on a pre-release version 10 since 3 or 4 weeks ...) If the Android version 10 has at least half as much issues regarding lost funtionality, consuming RAM capacity and taking battery power as the iOS-Version 10, there will be thousands and thousands of users who are shocked and disappointed. So far the old, but native EN-version for Android is pretty fast, doesn't need to much battery power and is good to use for finding and opening notes or taking scans to Evernote and has a rather good usability / UI. This can be history for a while when Android version 10 is released to soon... Please EN take your time to get at least this version ready and reliable before roll out!
  9. I'd love the answer to this too. Did you find a way ? I'm brand new to this! So far I haven't any solution for iOS. If I have to do "table-work" I just change to my Desktop-Evernote-Web-frontend. Table editing with iOS is obiously on the road map (thats why the user-interface includes this so far non responding function...). EN just hasn't managed to implement this new function (on iOS) in 10.0.x up to 10.1. It probably will be rolled out with one of the next releases (though there is no roadmap when...). Coming from the arguments for the Elektron based new Versions implementing on iOS shouldn't be to difficult, as table editing with the new Editor-ui is allready possible in the Evernote-Web-frontend and in Elektron based 10.x Versions for Windows and Mac. Delay on iOS may be caused by some special issues with drag and drop or context-menues on iOS for table editing ?!?
  10. If I am right then v1.4 of the "Evercuts"_Chrome-extension doesn't work anymore with Evernote Web 10.3.0 ?!? (at least shortcuts for Delete Note and Move Note)
  11. tested again: print-problem (again) seems to be fixed with new EN web client version v10.3.0 (at least / even my on my w10 pro-desktop at work in Chrome) Printout delivers all pages, not only the first.
  12. I have to agree. Seems like this is a problem which is depending on circumstances and technical environment. When I started this issue I was using my desktop (w10 pro) at work. While checking the new web version later at home also with w10 pro the issue seemed to be fixed. Today again at work the problem continued with Version 10.2.2..
  13. check if the image ist included as file or just displayed via hyperlink... I sometimes was / am faced with this problem when images for example were only clipped as reference instead of as file (mostly caused by the source-page)
  14. That is the reason why the former solution in the legacy version was better by far: Source url was saved and to edit only in the note info field. clickable additional hyperlink field in the ui allowed fast access to the source-page all source-urls of notes to merge were collected from source fields and integrated in merged note as working hyperlinks, easy to follow by click
  15. Print-Problem seems to be fixed with new web client version v10.2.1 (at least in Chrome and Vivaldi): Printout now delivers more than one, just all pages - even including (rendered) copies of (pdf-) attachements... A bit of information or announcement by Evernote about fixing this and (which?) other web client issues wouldn't have done any harm...
  16. Did you read the posts above? So far there seems to be no way to turn off or to adjust the (Chromium-Electron-) spellcheck in this version. May be this will change or be added in the coming updates, may be included with the pronounced reintegration of preferences.
  17. I think there is no to realistic way to distract us and the alltime everywhere rants in the power user group . But this won‘t change anything anyway. EN will go its way, may this be our way or not. There will probably be very serious decision regarding with with the „EN“ board mentioned by Ian Small. We shouldn‘t forget that EN isn‘t a non profit organization nor the Salvation Army. EN is in majority in the hands of venture capital firms. These firms have been financing EN and waiting patiently for years for success and profit. The decision to hire Ian Small and to build the system completely new from the ground will have been settled in this board. This may have included the option to cut down non profitable branches and not widely used functions. But hope dies last. I hope for solutions for the biggest actual issues, for reimplementing of features and last but not least for new game changing (power user) functions...
  18. That is what I would bet on too. Fast-syncing from all plattforms to web-server would open a door to the Evernote-world for nearly real-time collaboration. Real-time collaboration may not be on the top-wish-list of the actial power-users (even not on my list), but it could gain a new and growing market of paying future power-users...
  19. If I try to print out my longer note with Evernote Web v10.11 in FireFox (latest version) and Windows 10 Professional I get only 2 pages, 1st page with the very first part of my (far longher) note and 2nd completely empty. It doesn't make any difference if I print to my printer, to Microsoft Print to PDF or to ADOBE PDF. (though printing to ADOBE PDF takes longest time and delivers only 1st of 2 pages...). This bug is a big issue if you want to discuss about your notes, to archive them on paper or as PDF-printouts, to share them with others and... This needs to be fixed urgently.
  20. That's why I believe they will try to satify this group as much as possible anyway. But if I look at the responses I see many opinions that are diametrically opposed to each other. E.g.: Some demand for more fonts and colours, others appriciate the simplified and unified options for editing and layouting text. Those (power) users who ask for Markdown would probably tend to the latter position. I think (and hope...), a core set of productivity and workflow functions with a bit more integration in the operating systems will come back, others may not. In some aspects the former EN may have been to arbitrary, this led to a very heterogeneous user base, which in hole now can't be satisfied anymore. The worst thing for EN here is, that this part of the user base is obviously strong and willing to speak out loud in public. On the other side maximum growth may easier be achieved with the the remaining 97 percent...
  21. At least he meanwhile got quite a Corona-hairstyle... 😉 conclusions for me: EN seems to be surprised by the number of problems, which didnˋt occure during beta testing, at least not this urgent or often EN is willing to concentrate on fixing things for the next time EN wonˋt spent very much time or energy for a minority of users (e.g. 1-3%), even though they might be power-users EN plans to add functions and features, which a bigger number of users might have been looking for. This on a rather regulary base during the next 6 to 12 months... o.k. - that could be worth waiting for (may be best with legacy or old versions...)
  22. Be careful, the situation on windows is even far harder than on iPadOS... you’d better wait and see...
