no problem at all, I‘ve installed both on same machine - 90% of the time I run V10.

EN 10.4.4 runs pretty well on my iMac and Macbook Pro - besides some missing features I don‘t have any reason to complain, to be honest. @xray4uhave you already opened a service ticket?

same here (tested on iPad Pro), not yet reported via support ticket update: same issue on iPhone, tags are gone after sync 🙄

Mac 10.4.4 available, too. “view only“ is an issue seen on iOS (maybe other platforms, too) on certain notes, no chance to edit them anymore (there was a workaround by adding just a tag).

IMHO the scan quality is very good, but, indeed, the tool could be improved

10.2 converts any number to tel://<number> when typing NEW text into a note. You can use UNDO button to re-convert it to plain text (e. g. if the number isn‘t a phone number)

hope this has been fixed with todays update to 10.2!? (the issue is addressed in the release notes)

if you paste a Google Drive link into the note it will be converted to a...how to say?...a rich link, e. g. the link is renamed to,the name of the corresponding file name

I'm really happy about the release of 10.2, feels quicker, Google Drive integration, simple markdown, "view only" notes seem to be fixed. And the outlook "what's next" is also nice, hope Evernote delivers one more update before Xmas. 🥳 Just to say I'm happy 🙂

interesting, Google Drive integration is here, too (was not stated in German AppStore release notes) - just tested, works fine!

@AgnesP+1 as Xmas present: real tag filter (not just a list of all tags) - and, working offline notebooks would be nice, too.

sounds good, thanks for providing release notes! App is a lot faster on my iPad Pro now, hope this is not just because I‘ve restarted the App and lasts for long time use, too.

and, in addition, it was a REAL filter to drill down notes by tags used by the list of notes. Current filter just shows ALL tags Evernote has stored - that‘s bad. I mentioned this in the iOS forum, but it‘s valid for all platforms (V10).

as a part time photographer I‘m used to tag my photos - no chance to organize images in folders only. Imagine folders named „blue sky“, „flowers“, „vacation“, „italy“ to store images. Well, now imagine you‘re in italy for vacation and taking an image of nice flowers and a nice blue sky in the background...where to store this file now? 🙂 This is how I explain why I‘m using tags. I know, AI based photo search may also work, e. g. „show me photos with blue sky and flowers“ - but is it really getting all images? So, I‘m a tag fan, yes. And I do miss the REAL tag filter of the legacy version.

DT doesn‘t provide any container, it is just storing files - you can use a group (folder) to combine your files. RTF text notes can hold inline images, but those aren‘t editable on the iOS version of DT. DT is completely different to Evernote - you can use both for many things, but need completely different workflows. And more 3rd party apps because DT is a file storage system, nbut not a file creation (notes) system.

DEVONthink has many more limitations if you look to mobile devices, the mobile app is very, very limited. No saved searches, no reminders, no automation, no sort option for search results, no Tag filter, no text editor* - the only good thing is PDF annotation, additional 3rd party in-app purchase needed. I do like DT on Mac as a file storage solution, but since I do a lot of writing notes incl. checklists and I‘m working a lot on iPad Evernote is much better for this scenario. *there is a somehow iOS based RTF text editor, NOT compatible to MacOS - you‘ll loose your formatting, sooner or later, no checkboxes, no inline images - forget about it

Hi, while it is no problem to create an internal link to an evernote note, it is not working for other Apps. I've tried two different Apps: Omnifocus and DEVONthink - different problems, same result: not working. The Omnifocus link is not accepted as a valid link, see red (deny) box in the attachment. The DEVONthink link is accepted but converted to http:// afterwards. So, no chance to insert links pointing to different applications unfortunately. Btw, it's no issue to put an internal Evernote link into the other Apps, DEVONthink and Omnifocus are accepting Evernote links without any issue (seems they're opened in the legacy app then) 😉 paste a link: Link is converted to http:// 😞 Omnifocus link is not accepted at all:

@rogergaustep 3: you have to tap on {notebook name} to activate it and to limit your search to that notebook

@Pablocruzjust add a Tag to the note...makes it editable - remove the Tag at any time, note stays editable. It‘s a workaround, but a quick one. And yes, I still see those read only notes from time to time.

looks like this Timemachine backup is a possible way to go back to an earlier version.
