  1. Keyboard shortcuts are documented here https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313358-Keyboard-shortcuts-in-Evernote-for-Mac ⌘ ' Edit Tags works for me
  2. afaik This is the only method I also use the note as an overview explaining the purpose of the notebook, perhaps a table=of-contents
  3. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/213493077-How-to-add-hand-drawn-sketches-to-Evernote-on-iOS-devices https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208314548-How-to-add-handwriting-to-notes-on-Android-devices
  4. Which device/platform are you using? You're posting in the IOS forum In IOS, the sketch feature is accessed by clicking the + icon
  5. Instead of the email process, I use a script on my Mac (Applescript) to export email to Evernote
  6. Regarding the EN default "folder" (actually Notebook) This can be overridden if you have auto filing enabled https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005347-How-to-save-email-into-Evernote
  7. There's Zapier for integration the two services See https://zapier.com/apps/evernote/integrations/ticktick What features do you use in TickTick? I'm wondering if they can be replicated in Evernote
  8. Evernote saves all the page content elements, but does not go deeper into the hyperlinks The content will not be available if deleted on the web
  9. Evernote has a Stacks feature (stack of notebooks) https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208314158-How-to-organize-notebooks-into-stacks That's it - 2 levels For an unlimited hierarchy, look at the Tags feature I've merged your post with an ongoing request discussion for this feature
  10. Tag hierarchy is an Evernote feature on selected platforms - the screenshot is from my Mac >>How can apple script help me traverse through without having to search for the next tag? I use a script to access tags I prefer a drill down process instead of a tree For example, my first tag window shows top level tags Actually my first tag assignment for notes is note type The note type drives further tags, for example Receipt notes are assigned tags for vendor and budget
  11. How about markdown style (# ## ###) This has been implemented in the latest beta versions
  12. I use scripting on a Mac (Applescript) I want a set list of keywords (retrieved from the tag table)
  13. Confirmed The search would be for text tag_tagname1
  14. Keyword search works well in Evernote I use tag_sample inserted anywhere in my note contents or attachments # is a problem Evernote's search indexing excludes special characters, except for underscore
  15. open a support ticket at https://www.evernote.com/SupportLogin.action
  16. Try regenerating the app from Automator This pdf recommended step is not critical I so hate the new Apple security/privacy feature
  17. Is this a request for note background colour? Which panel are you glancing in?
  18. I merged your post with an existing request discussion for this feature To indicate your support, use the vote button at the top left corner of the discussion
  19. The master version of your data is stored on the Evernote service (except for local notebooks) Just login at the new device and the data will be downloaded >>two-device Login to your account settings and revoke access to obsolete devices
  20. Just to be clear, someone accessed your account using your id/password >>How can I tell if anything has been copied or downloaded? afaik there's no method. >>I've been using evernote to scan and store many documents - family passports and financial details. About as bad as it gets really. Most hackers are looking for passwords to other services fwiw I encrypt my sensitive data
  21. No folder support in Evernote; I use tags to keep my notes organized I use the tag hierarchy to keep my tags organized (Mac) >>With Evernote on my Android, I'm must have over a hundred tags and am forced to use search as my organizational tool Scrolling the tag list works well with my 300+ tags (Mac and iPad) I rarely need to use the search box or tag tree for assigning tags
  22. Personally I'm satisfied using the Scannable app for scanning documents I use the integrated camera feature for single images
  23. No, hyperlinks are only at the note level - not within the note contents
  24. No, Tags can only be assigned at the note level There's nothing stopping you from adding a keyword to note contents; for example tag_sample This is indexed and searchable as text
