  1. The feedback@evernote.com route works for me - I don't need Support, just an acknowledgement so I know they got the message.
  2. And, from the sound of it, very new. When we suggest to users that they uninstall and reinstall the application, there's always a caveat that "The new install is still initially a little slow - things get better after a few days."
  3. Nothing at all, but you're aware that notes can be rolled back to a previous version? The backups that power that feature were taken a few times a day. I'm not aware of any changes to that. Note History is not available however if the note no longer exists. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313858-Use-note-history-to-view-older-versions-of-a-note
  4. Hi. You show here as a 'free' member. If that's correct, beware checking out your account on other devices - you only have one or two allowable connected devices. Have you checked with the owner of the shared notebook to make sure you still have access? How did you receive your invitation? Via Evernote or direct from the owner? If someone else sent you the link they may not have the authority to invite others.
  5. The ways and wiles of Evernote's Marketing Department are not for us mere mortals to understand... but at a guess they're hoping that your experience over the next year will persuade you that the features are worth the cost, and that you will continue to subscribe at next renewal. But you're right: this is a one-year discount. If you take the bait, you'll face the standard cost next year. -Though you could always try downgrading to Free again and see what happens... and then if too many users try the same trick they'll reduce or drop the discount offers.
  6. I'm currently running a 68,000+ note account on Windows 11 in daily use and have no more problems with it as I do with the Microsoft, Adobe, Google and other software that I run. A point well made. If you need our help with technical issues, or actually want to help another user, then we're happy to see your posts. But this is now degenerating into name-calling and argument between individual users. Please stop posting rants. it's not helping.
  7. Hi. It appears you have a syncing issue. See https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313378-Tips-for-troubleshooting-syncing-issues
  8. Doesn't seem like it here - the OP is able to use the account, but is apparently unable to downgrade it. While I sympathise that you have been struggling with access to data, please don't post in more than one thread about the issue.
  9. Hi. Chat has not been available to anyone for more than a year. If you can give us details of your situation we can try to help here - we'd need device, OS and Evernote version numbers, and as much information as you can about how you found these notes to be missing. Please include your ticket number and we can ask a Forum Admin to pass on the urgency of the matter. Please also reply to the response you got - they usually end with something like "if you need more help, let us know..."
  10. Sorry - got confused with the numbers; thought my version was more recent, not a couple back..
  11. I'm on Windows 10.95.6 and it's not an issue for me... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  12. Only if they update new note indices into a steadily growing file - more efficient (usually) to replace old indexes with new ones. Slow replacements would be an issue. only if you depend solely on tag searches. Assigning tags should still be possible, and there are many other ways to find notes...
  13. Nope - that's the standard last 'please don't leave' discount when you're downgrading the account.
  14. I'd suggest quitting the app and powering the phone off and back on. If the issue persists, uninstall / power cycle / reinstall.
  15. Try a search on the web version and then switch back to the local app. Evernote still seem to be working on servers and it's causing some features to run slowly...
  16. Hi. It appears your access may be limited temporarily by Evernote's current ongoing upgrades - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005949208-Cancel-your-Evernote-Personal-subscription If you have already been debited - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/21400396397587-How-to-request-a-refund
  17. Hi. I'd suggest contacting the Brother support team - Evernote has been updating its server profiles and updates may have broken whatever links Brother use. There's a fairly easy work-around: scan to a desktop folder on your PC and copy the content into an Import folder. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209004967-Sync-your-local-folders-former-Import-Folder-feature
  18. Hi. Not directly - you could convert your DOCX files to PDF, or include a screenshot of the pages. Only PDFs and images are currently have the option to display the content.
  19. Hi. What device and OS / Evernote version numbers are you using? When you say 'most' of your data was gone - was this a completely blank account? If not, how many notes do you see, and how many do you feel there should be? 20. Nope - the 20 or so people here are actually a vanishingly small percentage of the total number of users, most of whom seem able to cope with a "/" list that disappears if you keep typing...
  21. I appreciate that was simply pointing you to what currently exists, but adding new behaviour to an existing feature is unlikely to happen quickly. Unless Evernote were already working on something similar, there are scheduling / planning / coding / testing phases to go through which could take a year or two, and Evernote might have other plans to make note allocation easier anyway...
  22. Hi. See Settings > Preferences >Sidebar to tick "show note counts". Click to the right of the notebook name in the desktop note display to see the 'move note' dialogue from which you can choose a note by name. More on moving notes here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360052533413-Move-a-note-to-a-different-notebook
  23. Hi. There's unlikely to be a fix unless you can get through to request help - 99.9% of other users seem to be managing just fine at the present time... Are you connecting from home or work? And from behind firewalls? Through VPN?
