Just wanted to say that I'm not sure if Evernote fixed something or if it just resolved itself, but Legacy is syncing for me this morning. Yay!

After some poking around, I was able to get it by following the directions at https://www.reddit.com/r/Evernote/comments/s0ydos/if_you_still_use_evernote_6x_win_desktop_theres/ Unfortunately, that did not solve my syncing issues.

Looking at something on a different thread, I think my problem may be that I'm not on v6.25.3, but a slightly older version. Does anyone know if there is still a place to download a copy of v6.25.3?

I guess maybe posting all the steps from the activity log rather than just the end result might be more helpful. The error message seems to be "[ERROR ] [14924] [32560] * error: Sync failed due to unexpected problem server side"

I have Legacy on one computer and the current version on another. The Legacy version has the red banner at the top saying that it will go away on March 20. However, as of midday yesterday, it stopped syncing. There is no error message. In my account, it says the device is still linked. I tried to open a ticket, but all I can get it to do is send me canned answers. I know I have to give up, but I much prefer Legacy and was planning to keep adding all my new notes that way as long as possible.

Thanks. Unfortunately, Shift+Ctrl+V also seems to get rid of all the hyperlinks and formatting that I would prefer to keep. And I found it difficult to work with that box thing that the web clipper puts around everything. I also tried ctrl-alt-v, but for some reason that mostly just does nothing for me.

I have been a long-time satisfied legacy user since 2011 and am struggling with the transition. I use Evernote only on Windows desktop/laptop and have been a heavy user of WIN-A (which I think I may have remapped to WIN-SHIFT-A at some point) to move things into Evernote. I see that this is not supported in the new Evernote. I have tried various alternatives, but have been unable to find anything satisfactory. Although it is less convenient, I thought I could get CTRL-C plus CTRL-N plus some variation on CTRL-V to work. However, I am hitting a brick wall with the way that it is treating new line characters. The other drawback of pasting in the new Evernote is that if I am copying from a website, it doesn’t automatically adds the URL in the note info and it’s less convenient to get to the place where you can add that manually.
