  4. I believe Note History is supposed to start with the creation of the note, though it can be reset by a major change like moving from one notebook to another. Don't know if that's still the case in v10.
  5. Depends on your hardware - I have 57,000 notes and on my new Win 11 computer with 32GB memory and a 1TB SSD v10 runs fantastically well. My old Dell laptop is still running Win 10 and EN 6.25 and hiccups a lot. Neither have a duplicates issue, probably because I'm based in two locations that have a good network connection and my mobile devices are mainly used (again with Legacy apps) for lookups. When adding new notes and images I usually complete the process, and leave the app to sync the details to the server. On mobiles, when you have a bad connection or are travelling, maybe use Airplane mode to keep things local? @PinkElephant uses that when commuting...

I'll contribute my inevitable Filterize plug - it's a freemium third-party add-in to the account, which (amongst many other things) can keep a list of links updated according to a variety of tests and formulae. These are effectively constantly updated ToC's. I have one forinstance for 'all open tasks with a due date up to and including today' and similar for 'all open tasks in the next 7 days'. More variables can be added with keyword, date and tag tests as required.
  7. Yes. The notes history process runs on all the servers all the time. If you become a subscriber you should have access to the history of all your notes back to the day they were created. History can be missing for a variety of reasons, but as long as the main note body still exists it's usually pretty reliable. You'll also be able to send a full report to Evernote support to ask them to look into the issues. Good luck with your situation in the Ukraine - you have the support of a large part of the world.
  8. It depends, as they say, on the image. A JPG/ PNG that I added to the note in the first place seems not to be a problem. Most HTML-based notes - emails/ web clips etc- vary depending on how the images are included*. A random email I just tried allowed me to drag-n-drop an image to my desktop, then to an outbound email. That's why I asked for a sample note - "copying and pasting" gets complicated if you're going from HTML via Windows Clipboard to something else... *This cutie came to me via Crucial and was dragged from email - desktop - Forum
  9. It appears that it is not working for you. If you check the earlier comments in this thread it seems to be working for everyone else. Try powering your device off and back on again, and if the issue continues, please send a screen shot of a note where copy/ paste is not working. (You could set up a test note with random pictures and text if necessary...)
  10. Yeah - my S1500 can't update to the latest version according to Fujitso. It's not a direct match with an IX500 AFAIK...
  11. Just realised I'm behaving like most other users - "but I want to do it my way" when yes, there are easy ways around this... Even the wording annoys me though - why not just "We Imported your Note to the Default Notebook"?
  12. My understanding was that the personal space (which would receive the emails you're sending) was split from the business area and requires a separate login. I'm not sure whether it is still possible to see both together... Regardless: I agree with @agsteele if you're not the Teams admin in your company, go have a chat with them; one or both of you may need to contact Support (where you'll have priority access) so this can be sorted out.   13. ScanSnap Manager 5.6.1.10 - after installing my (rather elderly) S1500 in Win 11, I get options to scan to Evernote "as a document" or "as a note". One generates the usual PDF file, the other includes the scanned document into the note inside an HTML frame. In either case I get the pop-up below (I may have forgotten to include that in my last post...) It only requires a dab at the keyboard to make it go away, but it is every. single. time...
  14. How is any of this an Evernote problem? You have non-standard email addresses, presumably hidden behind a company firewall + AV. And unless you've had a bad previous experience with Support, what's wrong with talking to the Support Team? - Who are probably the only people in a position to help you... Submit a ticket and let us know how it goes!
  15. It is possible to share notes and notebooks to someone who does not have Evernote and doesn't know how to use it. Please read the thread so far (and Evernote's help sheet) for more on that. If your browser has an 'incognito' mode you could copy the sharing link from one of your notebooks and try it out yourself.
  16. Hi. I'm trying out scanning direct to Evernote with a ScanSnap S1500 / EN 10.38.3 / and Win 11 desktop. I'd normally scan to folder, OCR and edit the files / filenames as necessary, then batch import to Evernote. OCR is now part of scanning though; and renaming can happen in Evernote directly, either manually or via Filterize; so other options are possible. The only fly in the ointment is this handy notice which pops up every. single. time. and needs a keypress to go away. Please either give us a way to opt for "Don't show this again" or some other setting for batch scanning?

  18. Hi, You're adding to a 2-year old thread, so it's not surprising you've not seen the option for a while. Please quote your device, OS and Evernote version if you'd like some (possibly) constructive alternatives...
  19. - And if that doesn't work, try killing all the windows back to the main Evernote app, then Ctrl+Q quit. When you next open the app you should be back to normal.

  21. Ah - I tend to use a short link, but there's usually an text / table index to explain which file is which; hence the lack of issue...
  22. I did notice differences depending in whether I'm also logged into GDocs or it's just Evernote. As @agsteele - it's not an issue for me, but it's worth reporting...
