    Option #2 worked for me as well but only after I shut down and restarted my mac.

    Since last week, I am unable to open evernote on my mac. I get the green spinning circle and it won't ever open. Twice now, I have deleted the app, restarted my computer, downloaded the new app and get the same results. Anyone else having this problem?
