  1. I'd suggest you read the help pages... Create a sketch on Mac and Windows
  2. Hi. I assume you're not a Teams user, though that's the thread that you posted in.. and it might be useful if you quoted the email contents - we may be able to help better. Buying a subscription isn't required, but if you can subscribe for a month or two it would solve your problems a lot more quickly - and you have - apparently - been using the service for free for at least 12 years, so have something like a potential 8GB+ of online storage where your notes are awaiting your attention... If you have a ticket number from the last email you received, try responding to that to ask for more help. If you don't have a ticket number, make a correct request for help from https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new - use the 'continue as a guest' option.
  3. Hi. You don't say what device, OS or Evernote version you're using, but that's fairly plainly the 'not synced yet' icon. Can't say why it would apply to certain notes (there are a lot of options) but it could mean the notes are too big / you've used up your upload limit this month or the content is corrupted or unavailable. See below for more... Evernote system limits | Tips for troubleshooting syncing issues
  4. Hi. I don't think Evernote's tasks offer that sort of granular analysis - yet.
  5. Hi. Evernote already allows drag and drop, though thanks to Windows clipboard you might have to drag to your desktop first, then drag from there into another app...
  6. Hi. From various comments the latest desktop version 10.48 seems to have changed that - I wouldn't know at present; my system still thinks 10.47 is the latest version 😒 (Yes I know I can download from the website and upgrade manually, but that takes a few minutes I don't currently seem to have!)
  7. Hi. As I understand it the date formatting follows your device settings. It's not possible to have a different option for Evernote, and AFAIK it never has been. I just use a text expander to create a range of date and time formats depending on my need. The current time and date is usually in my note titles - 20221109 - with one keypress.
  8. Hi. This Forum is mainly user-to-user and this issue isn't affecting everyone - I suggest you report this to Evernote Support if you want them to fix something. The company are working on the network at the present which project might help resolve this.
  9. ...and although scheduled maintenance is beginning on October 31st it's continuing for a couple of weeks...
  10. You've been the only one for more than a year - and what's a chinse cloud?
  11. Wow - that utility can apparently convert anything Evernote into literally anything else. No disrespect, but I'd make sure you have a solid backup of anything you use it on. It seems too good to be true!
  12. I didn't understand that comment either, which is why I was asking. In my account I need to click on the profile picture to get this pop-up and then enter my details to open a second account. Is that what you're doing?
  13. Hi. It's possible to export notes to either ENEX or HTML formats. ENEX is a format that can be read by many other note-taking apps. HTML is readable outside the application. If you've been adding receipts as PDF files attached to notes, you don't necessarily even need to export the notes - there's a 'save attachments' option which could save the files under their original file names in standard PDF format. It's also possible to print notes to PDF if you require. As to 'pay us again' - its possible to downgrade your account to a free one and leave your data where it is - it will still be visible in Evernote even without subscription. The Linux client is still in private beta but can offer all those options. If you can explain in a little more detail what you need to do, maybe we can suggest something more specific.
  14. Yep, sorry - if you have webmail of any sort you could still use clipper to copy emails into Evernote, but no email action without money up front I'm afraid...
  15. Hi. This copy of Evernote may be installed badly. I suggest you uninstall the present version, re-download a new installer from Evernote.com and try again.
  16. Hi. Does the failing account work if you log into it directly, or if you sign into the web page? When you "login through the other account" exactly what links are you following to get to the sign-in page?
  17. It's not possible to save anything in Evernote without placing it into a note. The notebook question might be asking which notebook you want to store the image in as a separate note. To add images to an existing note, save them as files, then copy/ paste or drag/ drop into position. To avoid very large images taking over your screen you might want to save them into a table to limit their size.
  18. Hi. Have a look at the help page to see whether there is an issue for you - I'm saving emails by redirection and forwarding and I have no issues here. Save emails into Evernote
  19. Hi. If you've noticed that the answer is quit and restart and/ or clear the cache it seems like an answer has been given to these many queries. It seems like a good idea to clear the browser cache, because the likely cause is probably a cookie on your system that is reminding Evernote where you left off in that note. It's trying to be helpful in returning to what it thinks is the last editing you did - which is not a glitch that can be fixed anywhere but on your system.
  20. These Forums are mainly user 2 user but subscribers can raise support queries here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new and all users here - https://twitter.com/evernotehelps (or via the feedback option in most clients).
  21. You don't appear to be running the latest version of Evernote - per the link: Dark mode is only available in the new Evernote for Windows.
  22. If you reported it to Support you would have been able to follow it through and know whether or not your issue was a bug and when (or whether) it would be resolved. Bear in mind that Evernote is operating within browser limitations and relying on your internet service to save information back to their server. If you spend some time working in the app, slow or dropped connections, other traffic, or just switching from the browser to another app and back may prevent the content being saved. It's better to use an installed app so that you at least have a local temporary file to fall back on if there are problems.
  23. AFAIK you get one of these per month. Not exactly a flood. If you get more - feed it back to Evernote.
  24. Hi. No. You can restore the history (histories?) of any individual note, but there's no way to search several notes' history for a specific item.
