  1. We users have suggested thousands of features and tweaks that Evernote may be working on in order, but so many suggestions, so little time...
  2. Thanks for the question @The Pawnbroker - I went for Professional too but I'd forgotten all about geo searching. For general information (because it took me a while to work this out...) the old 'note location' is (apparently) only available in Legacy - Save note location information – Evernote Help & Learning but confusingly "geographic search" is shown as a feature for Professional and Teams and if you check the help files for that specific term... you get 'advanced search' which includes... Use advanced search syntax – Evernote Help & Learning I don't know if there's something else more specific in there, but I assume you either use a Legacy iOS app or Google maps to see your pins. I dimly remember from looking at this search term a while ago that there are apps that will help with lat/ long details, but - since I forgot about this - it's not something I expect to use a lot... I will suggest to the Pachyderm Powers that the help pages could do with some more clarity around this information!
  3. As before - if you see this issue, please notify Support or use Feedback to advise them about it.
  4. I use Postach.io and my site is still up - they're still collecting my subs, last paid on November 2nd. They're notoriously slow in responding to chats from the website but IME they do get there eventually.
  5. Actually the reason there's no adjustment is entirely the fault of users who wanted identical presentations on all devices. Evernote had to impose its own fonts across several different operating systems to achieve that - which meant that they were limited in the style control they could achieve. Plus this is not a request forum - users are welcome to suggest changes, but it's entirely up to Evernote whether they decide to take the time and cost to implement them. Meantime to achieve a precise layout - use a word processor or a spreadsheet app and attach the output file to your note.
  6. Hmmn. If you're not a subscriber, you should be aware that there's a tighter 2 device limit on access, and the web (browser based) version counts as one of those two. So if you're accessing on three devices you'd probably be best off using the web access on your laptop and iPad (I think that counts as one device) and the installed app on the Galaxy. I'll attach some information on the web service and the device limit in case you have problems. Check out the icons in the 'All Notes' window on eth web service to find the 'sort by' options. Sadly this is not a set and forget option - you'll need to resort the window each time you use it. What's new in Evernote Web – Evernote Help & Learning Understanding the device limit
  7. Yup - I didn't know there was a 'Business Access Code' - something broke in between Evernote and Salesforce. One or both support teams should be your first call - as I said up above somewhere; depending on time zones you may be able to chat online with someone.
  8. Hi. You appear to be using the old and unsupported Legacy client. The current version is 10.4x. I'm not a Mac user so can't confirm whether your OS is compatible. I'm sure one or other of my colleagues will comment soon.
  9. Hi. This is a mainly user-supported Forum, so we don't have the power to do anything. The web client has various print options, and if you wish to jump ship many other providers will probably offer to import your Evernote notes. Maybe you should check with them what sort of a connection you'll need? For information the installed desktop client does have ENEX and HTML export formats, and PDF printed outputs.
  10. Upgrade to v10? There is NO SUPPORT for Legacy - it's end of life as of 2 years ago.
  11. As usual: Device / OS / Evernote version? Have you looked at Created Dates? Adding a date to the Title? Sorting into order?
  12. Hi. This is a public forum, so I'd strongly recommend that you remove your email address and phone number from the above to avoid getting spammed. We're also mainly other users, so we can't refund your payment. Please contact Evernote direct for your refund...
  13. Hi. You should be aware that this is a (mainly) user-supported forum, and Evernote staffers don't often come along to comment on individual issues. To talk to Evernote, raise a Support Ticket or feedback from any app. If you can tell us more about your situation, as in: how old is your device, do you use VPN or a firewall, are you home or office based... maybe we can offer some other suggestions.
  14. Hi. Drag and drop is too hard? - Couldn't really comment on the rest because I don't use Mac, but if you have specific needs someone else can usually suggest useful work-arounds...
  15. Don't forget also that it's possible to: print notes to PDF - up to 50 at a time in v10; more in Legacy, and export attachments from selected notes (with the same version limits) in their original file format publish notebooks as a private blog with freemium http://postach.io/ (password protecting the blog is available as a paid feature) -I appreciate the last isn't exactly what was asked for, but it is a way to view the contents of a notebook easily without having to open the Evernote app - and the content is fully searchable via internal tags and links.
  16. Not Wordpress, but blog related: there's a Freemium app Postach.io | The Evernote Powered Blogging Platform which turms a notebook into an online series of posts. Just add a tag to publish a note.
  17. There's also a quote from there - "There is no spoon" - which sums up my attitude until I see evidence otherwise!
  18. If you look around there are a few different ways to back up your account. A company called Backupery have a subscription service I joined which will automatically copy each one of my (Legacy) notebooks to an ENEX file on a regular basis. I don't know if they're offering the service to new customers now, because of v10's more or less totally online service; I'm pretty sure they and others must be looking at ways to interface with Evernote's servers directly to get backups, even if Evernote don't come out with their own option. I'm sure that before Evernote Legacy is end-of-life, there will be other options. Meantime v10's temporary file is a source for offline working. You could be off grid for a month, and as long as you work only on one laptop/ desktop, you'll be able to to anything you need. Mobile devices don't have a local database by default, but can download an offline copy of notes / notebooks provided they have the storage caoacity available.
  19. As it happens, I've tried many of the alternatives but I'm still using Evernote after 12-15 years and very nearly 60,000 notes. I get regular backups because I'm careful with my data, but in all that time and content I've only 'lost' a couple of notes, probably entirely through my own fault or evil Internet gremlins. Most of the complaints we see here about alleged data loss are through user error, so the best way to avoid issues is to raise a specific query and be prepared to listen to the answers. If you're still a subscriber you have access to Evernote official Support. If not, you still have access to the forums where we are all other users of the product. If you wish to spend the next 6 months looking at alternative applications, here's a good start - Comparison of note-taking software - Wikipedia - that's a list of 30 or so, although I've seen another list on Reddit which expanded that to around 80. I don't have a link though - you'd need to do some searches to find it. My main objections to most of these? - They're new / one person startups / lack of experience / bad security / not (yet) fit for purpose. IMHO Evernote is still the best all-rounder, at least for the general-purpose note taking I use it for. Incidentally I've been around for so long that they made me a Moderator here, which means I have the power to zap posts if they're unhelpful, untrue or otherwise contrary to the code of conduct. Your posts were a definite contender for that - please tone it down a little...
  20. To expand on my chatty friend a little - the two apps do not use the same database. The online V10 has a temporary database with the main body online while the Legacy app saves a different file (or series of files - depends on the OS) as a complete copy on your local hard drive. Since using one app means edited content has to sync to the server and then back down to the other local app, it's unwise to open both at the same time or in quick succession. You can have them both installed, but should only use one at a time.
  21. I don't know of any way to filter a list. You could create separate lists of personal and business tasks by having separate notes and tags to contain the tasks, and by using the title (maybe?) to include a date, you could perhaps sort these tasks into chronological order. You seem to have a rather specialized requirement that I don't share...
  22. I still use Outlook calendar and mail - it's easy enough to link to notes for the detail, while using Outlook for dates and messages.
  23. Hi. Who did you buy from and how did you "return" it?
  24. Hi. I'm sorry for your injury. You're in Evernote Teams requests - Evernote's business app - but I assume that's not what you're using. Please confirm your Device, OS and Evernote Version, and we can move your post to the correct 'requests' Forum. I don't know whether or when Evernote has plans for a default font, but they are unlikely to introduce these changes anytime in the near future. We're a mainly user-supported forum, so have no insider knowledge. You could presumably get someone to use an automation app like Microsoft's Power Automate to change fonts in a note, and if your OS has a personal assistant, you may be able to dictate notes and font changes that way. Good luck with that - please let us know if you manage to get together a working system!
