  1. Hi. What do you expect from this "group"? All your devices will sync back to and from the server for their data - all you need do (provided you are a subscriber) is to install Evernote on each device and sign in with your existing login details. Free users have a limit of 2 devices, so in that case you'd have to pick two to use.
  2. Hi. What exactly are you trying to accomplish when this error is shown?
  3. Hi. I have the same setup but have no issues here - if you're a subscriber I suggest you contact Support; otherwise - could you have exceeded your device or upload limits?
  4. Hi. You may know that you're only logged in with one device, but Evernote clearly thinks differently. Please log in to https://www.evernote.com/Devices.action to check, and disable any devices other than the one you're currently using. Check here for more... https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/218558068
  5. Hi. We're mainly users here. You already have lots of useful links from Evernote direct; if you have genuinely lost data, I'd suggest you contact Support as soon as possible.
  6. Hi. I'd suggest you report this to Support (we aren't them) who will be able to look into the background.
  7. Hi. Have you looked into Widgets?
  8. Hi. Are you a subscriber? How many devices do you have connected to your account when you open this page - https://www.evernote.com/Devices.action
  9. Hi. As stated above - there is no specific Chromebook version to download - you need either the Android version or the web version. Which are you having issues with, and what precisely happens when you try to download?
  10. I had that situation happen to me on Windows 11 once - can't remember the circumstances exactly, but I'd put 20+ files into the folder, seen them import, then rebooted for some reason... and saw Evernote tell me that 20+ files had been imported - again. I generally clear out my Import Folder after the files have been processed - it's a waste of space (and an invitation to confusion) to have the file both imported and separate. There's a Windows app called DropIt which automates file management - it can (forinstance) check a folder and move or delete any contents, as can Power Automate and any number of similar applications. I tend to use a two-part process... anything in my Import Folder gets redirected to an external drive Import Archive for a few months which is cleared a couple of times a year. (I use a similar process when scanning - processed paper stays in a tray for a few weeks in case I need it again...)
  11. Seems like it may be an expensive option too... https://www.cnbc.com/2023/03/13/chatgpt-and-generative-ai-are-booming-but-at-a-very-expensive-price.html
  12. Hmmn - that would put the issue in pre-v10 times. There's a new ball game in town now. You could be seeing a grey box if you're on mobile or a low-bandwidth connection - it's a place holder for the image, which you should be able to see if you click it as though it is a link. That image should be synced / loaded out of turn because you requested it. If you're saying these weren't JPG files to begin with, then that seems unusual. Otherwise PNG, JPG etc are just standard image files and what you're seeing is the full file name.
  13. This is my cluttered W11 desktop with 7 apps active... Yes, I cut off the edges to show the icons more clearly, but there are zero windows open - most of my required apps are pinned to the taskbar.
  14. Filterize does a lot of tagging and filing for me... there's a 30-day free trial, after which it's actually a little more expensive than Evernote to subscribe, but I am very very lazy...
  15. Hi. This is the forum for Evernote Teams, which is a business product. I assume that's not you, but if it is please see your in-house Admin staff, because the forums are (mostly) user-supported. As a subscriber, you could also contact Support. If you're not a subscriber, or are using another product, please tell us your device / OS / Evernote version, and explain in detail what exactly is happening here - because (for instance) I don't know where your reset email is being sent from, or what you did to request it.
  16. I'm pretty sure you normally get a global icon when Evernote is installed - and if that's missing for some reason you can create one in about 10 seconds from any desktop.
  17. Not sure if this answers the question, but I'm setting up 'parent notes' for some of my tasks - the actual task is at the top of the note, and below that there's a table with dates and comments on the left, links and documents to the right, following through my progress on that issue. It's working for me...
  18. Hmmn. LNK files are just shortcuts in Windows - 1KB bookmarks that drive things like lists of recent files. Don't ever remember any reported issues like that. Maybe try Revo Uninstaller Free? If it can find any Evernote files, it will totally nuke any data that might have been left behind after a corrupted install and allow you a completely clean retry. If that fails, or if you uninstall with Revo and still have issues, then it sounds like you may have other system issues. If you subscribe - or can do so for a month - you can contact Evernote Support (who are not us) who may be able to help with that. They may need to see your activity logs. Or (longer term option) as a Basic user you can try @EvernoteHelps on Twitter.
  19. Hi. Try uninstalling the current app and restart / reinstall from Evernote.com to avoid any additional Microsoft protections applied via the store.
  20. Hmmn. I did not know that - just tried to check, but generating any sort of a 'share' from this device (Dell, Windows 11, EN10) just gets me a link that opens a Log-in window immediately. Either something broke or I'm not doing it right - no time to check now though; maybe more later... Meantime this reminded me of the First Rule of Sharing - make sure test it out on yourself first to avoid embarrassment!
  21. I think the number of pages on which Evernote have responded in the past has been in the same percentiles we're just talking about. Can't guess how many threads there are in the Forums, but there are hundreds, probably thousands of suggestions for changes, many in this sort of votable thread and many more which pre-date them. Evernote would have to fund a team of agents to respond to any given number - and where do you draw the line? 500 votes in favour? 100? 10?... and then (for I used to run a support team) you'll get the ones who didn't get a response wondering why those who did are so special, and those who did get a response pushing to know whether any work has been done on this yet, and when's the release date. The staff responding would be tying up time with managers and coders asking questions internally... I believe the expression "can of worms" covers the situation here. All of which is great for the competition who know what to work on and when to release it (usually about a week before Evernote plans to.) It's corporately better to say nuffin' and let folks think what they may - and let your team get on with their coding so you can release something you have already planned for as fast as possible. I do agree with you that Evernote could be vastly better in many ways - but given that they have a vast technical debt because of the client data and format they already have, and an admin debt in that they have new owners and (hopefully lots of) new staff on the job, my opinion as always is: "Stay if you can work around an issue - leave if you can't"
