  1. It is as two concurrent device limit. You can have as many devices as you like, only two signed in at a time.
  2. None, my bad. I was thinking of something else when I posted, a little too quick on the draw. Sorry about that. I will edit the post above. Thanks.
  3. Try replacing the space with a period in the tag names.
  4. You are welcome. If you want to add a little speed to the phone call process, drag a copy of the template to the desktop and then you can double click that ENEX file to have a copy of the template note appear in your default notebook. My method, FWIW. Full disclosure, double monitors make it easier to get to the ENEX file on the desktop.
  5. There's always the preserve tags option when copying a note.
  6. You can have 100 devices, it's just you can only use two at a time.
  7. once in general discussion? catch tablets and phones that way.
  8. And if one follows good security practices (can't say I do ) and logs out after each session it shouldn't be a problem at all, if I read it right.
  9. As they apparently did when unlimited was the case for a while.
  10. Both could very well be the case for some. Simply purchase decisions based upon an individuals view of the value to them. Doesn't take much feature for no cost to be a value, add some cost and folks have to make decisions. Not everyone is going to make the same decisions. Netflix vs Prime vs EN vs DropBox vs whatever else digital vs stuff I have to have in the non digital world - all, some or none. Personal purchasing decisions to make based upon one's own value view and fiscal constraints. End of the day, EN Basic still has pretty much the same features with the exception of less concurrent devices, and it is FREE.
  11. @gustavgi Thanks for explanation. I see how it works for you, which is a good lesson for anyone reading the thread. It has to be a special tag to still exist for me if it has less than 10 notes using it. Totally off topic, I like the two movie examples, how would you tag Blade Runner?
  12. Funny thing, I use tags for just the opposite reason, I don't want to have to remember where I put the note, which is why i use EN in the first place. I can see why some would like deeper nesting of notebooks, just not for me.
  13. Not to be contrarian, but I'm a longer term user who is not in desperate need of an archiving tool. May just be my primary use cases of paperless, documentation, task/project management, things of interest which means I don't need it, I suppose. I can see why others would want it, just not essential to me. IAC, easy enough for me to modify a search to exclude unwanted stuff, if need be. Just a different view.
  14. Use the same structure for tags as you would for notebooks. And as previously stated, can't have duplicate names - notebooks or tags, may have to do some prefixing. Or make the top two levels be your stacks and notebooks and tag the rest. If your are using the windows version the recently introduced tag inheritance might be a benefit.
  15. Windows user here, out of interest, is there not a Shift-Alt-T hot key alternative on Mac that enables sequential tag picking?
  16. PDFs tend to expand to the width of the window in which you are view them inline. So all you can do at this point is change the note window size. AFAIK.
  17. EN's issue probably has more to do with management, priority and resources than a specific tracking system. There does not seem to be a concerted effort to fix things (management issue in my view), and hasn't been the years I have been using the product. Personally, I have never understood why bugs aren't a sin against humanity in the eyes of software companies. Software development by its nature creates bugs but the trick is how to keep them to a minimum and how to eradicate them as quickly as possible after they appear (preferably not in the live world). All the voting in the world isn't going to fix it if EN management doesn't decide to devote the resources to prevention and remediation. Let them determine the priorities for all I care, just do it and get a manageable process instituted that results in a high quality product.
  18. FollowUpThen, it is a free or subscription service. They use the email address you send to to create the reminder, many variations. For example 11amJun10@followupthen.com will send you a reminder at that time, or send to every1st8am@followupthen.com will set up a recurring reminder for the first of every month at 8 am. Put what you like in the subject line to identify the task. I also paste the note link into the body. When the email arrives I just click the link and am in the note. FWIW.
