  1. I think this says everything, taken from the help page where you can install the legacy version:
  2. You can install the Outlook extension, see this - it is the installed clipper that came with EN that is no longer available.
  3. As it is happening in iPads and iPhones it may well be the default opening options trying to open the app instead of the browser to view it. Could be worth trying to copy the link and paste it into the address bar of Safari (or whatever browser) on your Apple device to see if it loads.
  4. That is probably true, but only because it is easier than saying "a user of a greater number of a products functions that the general user". I do also agree that sometimes you have have to cull features that only a tiny percentage of people may use in a product (I have done it myself) but this was a major shift that removed a lot of things those "power users" used in their work flow, and for a lot of people, it will have been those features that were the difference in paying for a product or using an alternative. Out of interest, what are the improvements in this version that made you sign back up as a premium user?
  5. I think if you save it to your own EN it is just a copy of the current - I don't think it will receive any updates unfortunately, which is why it would be better if EN would just publish a list like this for everyone to see.
  6. It should be possible as even with electron apps you can access the local system and include other libraries to carry out functions on the OS, so fingers crossed it will be restored.
  7. Got you, I think my issue was that I have a lot of stacks and am generally in one of those or the 'All Notes' section.
  8. I have added this to the list, I will keep this updated as we all become aware of updates/improvements.
  9. That seems insane, if you hold on the link do you get any options to open in another browser tab instead? Sounds like the iPad is automatically trying to open it in the EN app.
  10. The stack parts used to be on the right click context menu which I have included, the import folder function has been removed but the Ctrl + Shift + V is apparently still there as per this article (I haven't tried it myself): https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209004807
  11. The clipper installed as part of EN has gone, but there is an add in available in Outlook Desktop, click 'Get Add-ins' on the ribbon menu and search for Evernote. You can then still save emails to EN.
  12. Strange, it is shared with 'Anyone can view'... maybe I should have put it in something other than Evernote.
  13. I have implemented my own initial version of this, let me know what needs adding to it or if you are aware of any changes/updates to the availability or planned status of any of the listed items. https://www.evernote.com/shard/s249/sh/3fabdc13-3d55-9e1f-981b-9d4b43d74975/739ec1c7ac579089ac6d0ecdf2a8ddd1
  14. At the top of the post click the up arrow to include your vote (highlighted below).
  15. This forum is for the Windows version, you post may be better suited to the forum for the mobile apps?
  16. This was brought up during the beta (by myself included) as I used the context options, but it is still missing and no confirmation as to whether these will return - fingers crossed though.
  17. I have noticed the speed issues with the UI in general and the difference between the legacy (native) app the V10 (electron) app. I also use other apps that are based on electron and they are always slightly more sluggish compared to native apps in terms of UI responsiveness. This could be something to do with the way they are rendered being a browser based system, as well as the size of the content being displayed. I build native business apps for windows and they are snappier and consume much less memory than the electron apps and perform much better, this was one of my first disappointments with EN moving to an Electron app.
  18. I was testing this over the weekend and found that I could disconnect my connection and then had access to my note content in full, this included notes I know I have not opened in the new version since install. I could close EN, via the X and it was still running in the system tray, then re-open and carry on accessing notes. So the local copy of my notes seems to be there now and works offline, then when re-connecting syncs the changes. But, reading the way it is described by EN it seems that if you were to 'log Out' (or 'Sign Out)' as it is in the File menu, I would imagine that is where it removes the local copy - so 'should' only be an issue if you are physically signing out of the app?
  19. Completely agree, non point to this feature if it does not saved the content as a snapshot in time. @MikeP just another of the beta issues that seems to have been ignored!
  20. I have just tried opening a note which was created over a year ago and when placing the cursor in the middle of one word this is what the toolbar shows: It shows 'Mixed' for font and no size at all?? I can see how some peoples notes may look odd if they have specified older system fonts etc in the past and the new editor cant convert them to a decent equivalent.
  21. I use ON quite heavily for business and you can handle a lot of notes and the search is pretty decent these days, I do agree about the lack of tools to manage thousands of notes though. If ON had the tagging and search functionality as EN it would be fantastic, I am not a fan of the low level tagging in ON. Regarding the sync, on my machines ON stores the notebooks in full in the OneDrive folder so I can access them fully offline, as opposed to other files that are 'available on demand' in OneDrive.
  22. Yeah, maybe he recorded it in advance, but he also says he was part of the beta so he must have been aware of the state of things, and he also did an interview with Ian Small days earlier so probably didn't want to be too negative about it. Like you say most are, I would say with the exception of Marie Poulin who knows Notion inside out. But there do seem to be a LOT of 'Productivity Vloggers' nowadays who just seem to give overviews jumping on the bandwagon.
  23. This is exactly where I am, I moved all my business stuff to OneNote a little while ago - the big miss compared to EN is the tagging system which I really do like about EN. I am still going to use it for personal use and see how it goes and what makes it back into the client as they continue development, but I wont be renewing my subs either if it is no better.
