  1. Hi @lino sutter, thanks for letting me know. Can you try the following steps to trigger a force sync in Evernote Mac and let me know if the issue persists? 1. Open Evernote for Mac 2. Hold the Shift and Option keys on your keyboard and click the sync wheel (next to your username) 3. Depending on the number of notes in your account, the amount of time it can take for the force sync to finish will vary. Please allow the application to complete the sync process before continuing to use the application.
  2. Hi @mmfillenord, Welcome to the forums. You can turn the Context feature off in Evernote's preferences: In Evernote Mac, open Evernote then select Evernote > Preferences > Context from the menu bar and un-check the Show Context box. In Evernote Windows, open Evernote and then select Tools > Options > Note and un-check the Context box at the bottom. You can find more information on the Context feature here: Let me know if you have any questions.
  3. Thank you for letting me know. Would you mind submitting a support ticket and letting me know the ticket number here? I look forward to your response.
  4. I've checked with our development team and it appears the fix for this looks is scheduled to come out in the next 2-3 updates to Evernote Mac. I don't currently have a firmer timeframe I'm able to provide.
  5. Moved to the Mac Product Feedback section
  6. Hi there @kerrysusser, as I mentioned in my post above - There is an report filed with our developers on this issue affecting version 6.8, however there have not been any updates regarding this and I do not expect any movement on this anytime soon as this is an older version that is no longer being supported. The best recommendation I can make if you are unable to update your version of macOS is to use the web version of Evernote at
  7. Hi @spam4stan, are you able to go to System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items and remove Evernote from the list? Let me know how this goes.

  9. Glad to hear it! You can move that folder to the trash. If the issue persists, let me know here and I'll be happy to look further into this with you.
  10. Hi @Lockon, Please try the following steps to resolve the issue with the Helper: 1. Quit Evernote and Evernote Helper 2. Open Finder 3. Go to ‘Go' > 'Go To Folder' 4. 11. Thanks for your response. Our developers are currently aware of this issue and are working on a resolution. I don't have any details as to when it will be available, but I will update this thread with more information as I receive it.
  12. Hi @Daphne G-G; welcome to the forums! If you're still on Evernote version 2.0 on your Mac, you are quite a few versions behind. The current version is 6.11 and should resemble something closer to what you are seeing in the tutorials. If you are able to, I'd recommend reinstalling the latest version of Evernote for Mac. You will need to be on a Mac running OSX 10.10 or higher to be able to do this. Since you are on much older version, your best bet would be to make sure all of your notes and notebooks appear properly when signing into your account at from a desktop web browser, then reinstall Evernote using the steps here: Please let me know how it goes or if you have any questions!
