  1. I think an "undated reminder" essentially does just this. Just add a reminder to the note and select "no date." You add a reminder by clicking on the bell at the bottom of the note. Whren you do this, a "reminder" tab will appear at the top of the note list when you select the notebook that the note is in, like this: Vinnie
  2. No problem and no need to apologize. I appreciate all of the time you spend here helping people think about what might work best for them, and the relative strengths of the two programs. Vinnie
  3. "And what?" I don't understand. I am unable to tell, @ferol, whether you mean to criticize me for asking the question or not -- it feels that way. For clarity, and not to be defensive or get in a back-and-forth discussion about it, I carefully and courteously prefaced my question with the line above hoping that my comment would not raise the ire of Obsidian fans. And perhaps fellow posters here would be interested to know that there is a place where many passionate users of Obsidian hang out and respond to questions. @AKARJLUK responded with a brief, appropriate and helpful post. Okay, I will move on, now. Vinnie
  4. And on that version in Windows, the note title and the notebook are both displayed on the "breadcrumbs" line. To see it, start at the purple "share" button and move your eyes straight left. Vinnie
  5. "Yes, verified the images are also gone in the web version." And I"m sorry that they're gone but happy for you that you were able to find them elsewhere. Vinnie
  6. Mine is the same as @PinkElephant. And I've had an account since 2008, so it's apparently not something that used-to-be that now no-longer-is. 😀 Vinnie
  7. Also, have you tried using the web client? It's possible that your content made it to Evernote's servers but not back to your other devices. The web client gives you essentially a direct view of what's stored on the servers - your master database - so you may find some or all of your notes there. Vinnie
  8. Not to imply any criticism of people asking for help nor of other helpful people providing the assistance, but isn't it interesting that there are so many questions on the Evernote Forum about how Obsidian works? Does Obsidian not have its own forum? Vinnie
  9. And contact Evernote is probably what you should do. Vinnie
  10. Well, it's really hard for anyone to give you any advice since you are not providing very much information for anyone to work with. Also, if you think the issue you have is strictly billing, there are literally dozens of posts on the Forum here about how to contact Evernote about billing problems. So, search is your friend. Vinnie
  11. And, BTW, the first thing Evernote support is likely to tell you to do is to uninstall Evernote completely, including your local database, reinstall with the latest version, and let the local database recreate itself. (They do that even when the problem reported is unlikely to be related to the local database and your problem is very likely to be related to the local database.) So, you can save some time while you are waiting to hear from support by going ahead and doing this -- instructions how are posted virtually daily on the Forum - or you can just wait until you hear from support, and they suggest you uninstall and reinstall. The second option sounds more like the waste of time to me, but you should do whatever makes you happy. Also, as @PinkElephant suggests, you should check the web client. That gives you a direct look into what is on the Evernote servers. Whichever of your clients disagrees with what you see on the web client is likely to be where the database corruption resides. Good luck, Vinnie
  12. Did you happen to check to see if the note is available on the web app? If you haven't checked, the note may still be there and there is an issue with your local database rather than actual data loss. Vinnie
  13. A passing thought... are you or any of those you are trying to share with operating in a corporate environment? If that's the case, your system administrators may have changed something that is preventing you from accessing this shared information. Vinnie
  14. @swallace111, yes, it can be a bit clunky. I use that approach myself not for prioritization, but to be able to look at separate task lists for home and work. Whenever I make a new task, I start it with either H: or W: depending on the nature of the task. Then I can type W: to see all of my work-related tasks, or H: to see my home-related tasks. I like @MikeP's approach of using emojis too... I just haven't gotten around to playing with it. Vinnie
  15. Glad you got it working! It seems like the conclusion to be drawn from your experience is that one pass with Revo may not be enough. That could be very useful information to others! Vinnie
  16. That's fine. But if I may respectfully offer another suggestion: adding a few words like "... but thanks for taking the time to offer the suggestion..." would go a long way to encouraging me and others to help you out on this and other problems in the future. Vinnie
  17. Vlad Campus just posted an inverview with Federico on Vlad's YouTube channel. They talked specifically about the / command as Federico's approach to introducing new features. It's worth a viewing. Vinnie
  18. Sorry, I don't know. Someone else might. I was just responding to two pieces of information which may not go together: iDoc's mention of a problem with the Clipper, and me noticing a recent update to the web clipper. My response might be completely irrelevant if iDoc was referring to a different clipper. Sorry. Vinnie
  19. I just tested it, and there is a "save as" option. I saved the image to my desktop and opened it from there It all worked as I expected. I'm using the Windows client so your experience with a MAC may not be the same. Vinnie
  20. @idoc, what version of the Clipper are you using? I believe there was a bug-fix update to the Clipper released over the last few days. The current version is 7.35, I believe. Vinnie
  21. Just as a fact-check, and not to start a big back-and-forth -- I know quite a few people who are "religious" GTD users, use Evernote to manage their GTD system, and don't use tags. I sincerely wish you luck finding an application that suits your own implementation of GTD better, Vinnie
  22. I don't have time to dig it out for you, sorry. Try Evernote's home page. I believe the blog is thre. Vinnie
  23. There were instructions in Evernote's blog post announcing the drop-dead date... Vinnie
  24. 10.79.3 for me, @gazumped... just downloaded it a minute ago. You've got to be FAST to keep up these days! Vinnie
  25. And, also, you just described in your post how you could accomplish the same thing using a naming convention. Start each task your priority code: A1:[task] B3:[task] etc. Then open the task window and enter your priority code in the search box. Entering A1: will show all of the tasks with that priority. Vinnie
