If you are having so many problems with v10 then wouldn't it really be better to look for another application? Would it be that difficult to switch to another option? You talk as if you are forced to use Evernote and have no choice but I think that is an exaggeration. We all have a choice.

I don't know your life or your needs so I'm sorry if I say something wrong, but I don't think it's a good idea to be so dependent on a program that you have no control over (the end of legacy was proof of that). Do you really have no other options besides Evernote? If Evernote ended tomorrow what would you do?

I'm noticing this too and it's been a while. They are releasing several versions every few hours. This last time they released 10.83.3, 10.83.4 and finally 10.83.5 almost together.

When version 10 of Evernote was released in 2020, it was announced that it would only work on Android 10 or higher. Some time later it started working on Android 9. If your use is simple and you can't buy a new phone, you will have to switch to another application. UpNote looks interesting. Why don't you test it?

This reminds me of the theories about Elvis Presley's death. He died in 1977 but there are people who still think he is alive. They simply cannot accept the idea that death comes to everyone and that Elvis was not special. After all, he was just a human, a mortal like the rest of us. It seems the same thing is happening with legacy.

You might be right. Anyway, I don't think Evernote will give us any option to turn off IA, so if you don't want to take the risk, the only way is to stop using Evernote (and other applications that are also using IA like Notion for example). It's all or nothing!

Could anybody tell me what we can do to bring Legacy back? There's nothing to do Is there any chance they will hear us and will do something about it? No That's 100% clear that most of the users don't like the new version and want the old one (Legacy) back! You must be right but the legacy will not return. Furthermore, I believe that the new version will improve and in 1 or 2 years we will have a better Evernote than today.

It's absurd to think that this is something personal against you. Have you tested other applications to replace Evernote?

There's no need to be sarcastic. Some of us are happy with v10 and others are not. Each of us has our reasons. Nobody is wrong.

I liked the new home page because it is more practical and simple. However, it doesn't make sense to include the old home page (with widgets) in the menu. I think it's better to have an option in the settings where the user can choose which page they want to start with: the old or the new. I have already sent a message to feedback@evernote.com with this suggestion.

I totally agree with this. Whether good or bad are just business decisions. It is not a deliberate decision to harm any user. I also have confidence that Evernote in the coming years will solve most of the problems in the new version. Those who cannot or want to wait can switch to other applications. There are several good alternatives to Evernote. There is no need to despair.

I think everyone agrees that v10 is worse than legacy. The question is how much worse it is. Many here think that version 10 is so bad that it's not worth it. I'm from the group that thinks it's not that bad so much so that I keep paying and use Evernote normally. V10 has a lot of bugs but it's still the best note taking program I know so I keep using it. I hope that BS can increasingly improve the current version, knowing that it will never be the same as the legacy. Correction: Most of us agree that v10 is worse than legacy....

I don't know why you said "Unfortunately". All the options you listed are valid tips including giving feedback. In the end, that's all we here on the forum can do. We are just users. It's up to us to just try to find alternatives, complain and hope that Evernote listens to us. Just it.

All legacy versions were retired by Evernote last Tuesday. The current version (it's the only one) is 10 which only works on Android 10 or higher (maybe it works on Android 9 too but I'm not sure). Update your tablet's Android version or buy a new one. Finally, you can also try accessing the web version of Evernote through your tablet's browser.

There is no such option in v10. Shortcuts are in the sidebar or in the widget on the home screen. I also miss this functionality.

Legacy was a great program but it’s not coming back. It's a fact.

This is the new notification area to notify you of new features launched. As far as I know there is no way to turn it off.

I know you're sad about the end of the legacy and angry about the price increase but things stop there. Evernote is not messing with you. It was really just a coincidence.
