  1. It seems that implementation is gradual. I have version 10.86 installed and I use two accounts. In one account, the full screen view of tasks already appears, in the other it does not yet.
  2. Honestly, I also find it strange that they have all this patience and good will with other software, which is very different from Evernote. I have the impression that people got too attached to Legacy by creating workflows that were too specific. I, for example, didn't go through that. When v10 was launched in 2020 I started using it almost immediately and had a very smooth transition. Legacy and v10 are different but the basics are still there: notes, notebooks, labels.
  3. The same thing happens to me. I imagine it's because the functionality isn't 100% ready yet. In one of the posts on X (twitter) Federico said this: https://twitter.com/fedesimio/status/1780279923518644588
  4. @Paul A. I'm using Windows 10 and Evernote Desktop Version 10.85.4. I followed your steps here and when trying to open the pdf it shows a message asking to select an application to open the file. I selected the PDF reader I use and then it opened normally.
  5. The current version is 10.86. If Evernote continues this pace of releasing updates every week then in about 4 months we will arrive at Evernote 11. I wonder if there will be any big news on the way! 🤔
  6. In the midst of a lot of criticism here, it's good to see someone who still realizes how good Evernote is. Congratulations!
  7. Get ready for more updates. I believe that in the coming months there will be frequent updates (every week). They have a lot of bugs to fix and have already announced that they will release a lot of new features.
  8. It's a little obvious to me that the current Evernote team likes to test things and make changes quickly and in large quantities. I agree that it would be better to have a stable version and another for testing but I don't see that happening at the moment. For those whose changes unfortunately hinder productivity, a new app may be the best option.
  9. I am living proof of your argument because I am its complete opposite. 80% of my use of Evernote is for saving files and notes and 20% for work and productivity, so these changes affect me very little. Honestly, until today I haven't been able to really notice this change in spacing. 🤭
  10. I totally agree with you. Just to illustrate, below are recent blog posts warning about new features and improvements. Look how much stuff: 1 - https://evernote.com/blog/20-improvements-jan-march-2024 2 - https://evernote.com/blog/ai-edit 3 - https://evernote.com/blog/microsoft-outlook-calendar 4 - https://evernote.com/blog/14-features-for-all 5 - https://evernote.com/blog/new-ui-2024 6 - https://evernote.com/blog/2023-recap 7 - https://evernote.com/blog/faster-web-downsync 8 - https://evernote.com/blog/update-october-4-outage-a-big-migration-and-a-better-infrastructure 9 - https://evernote.com/blog/future-proofing-evernotes-foundations
  11. Many here like v10 and I am one of them. You don't need to belittle us just because you're angry about the end of the legacy. Those who use Evernote simply deserve respect too. Blame Evernote, Don't Blame Us
  12. They recently reported on Twitter that they are about to launch a new section in Evernote dedicated to showing only files attached to notes. I imagine it might be useful for searching these pdfs
  13. I'm using version 10.84.3 on Windows 10 and it works the same way as you mentioned.
  14. Have you downloaded v10 recently? If so, perhaps you didn't wait that long for the database to be fully downloaded.
  15. 1 - I don't think v10 is horrible. 2 - I don't think v10 is slow, much less unstable. I use it every day and I'm satisfied with its speed 3 - There really are several features missing in v10. Fortunately for me, none of them are essential. I hope that in the coming months or years BS can include them
  16. You are very detailed. 😅 The difference is minimal.
  17. Most of the fights around here are related to this. Users defending the legacy (or defending v10) as if it were a God. Evernote is good but it's just another software. If tomorrow it ends, life continues.
