  1. I'm still having this problem on an iPhone 12 mini. Edit: version 10.85.1 (1220306).
  2. Thanks, I restarted Evernote and it started working again. Is the new Evernote usually this buggy?
  3. I took some notes yesterday with bullet points. Today, after opening up the note, I'm greeted with foreign characters. Most of the notes that I'm going through have this problem. Please advise.
  4. I've used Evernote for about a decade, switched over to Legacy when v10 was released (didn't like the new interface and huge margins). Newly forced to v10. It looks much better than when I tried it before (margin issues still exist it seems) but now with features that get in the way of me using EN to....take notes. I had never posted on the forum prior to v10 and never sent in a support request for the desktop app (sent in many when the IOS app was forced to update). Aside from it being a bit slow on my M1 when scrolling through notes with pictures, Legacy just worked (I still have it opened right now for its search function). It was dependable and as so allowed me to focus on what was important for me - getting my ideas and thoughts down as quickly and efficiently as possible. I'm all for updates, as long as it doesn't get in the way of what I feel the primary function of EN is for myself...to document what I need to. In IT, I work with Citrix products. They offer two release types - 1) Current Release (CR) 2) Long Term Service Release (LTSR) From what I understand CRs have the latest feature updates while LTSRs have incremental updates (security related etc). Not sure if this has been suggested yet but I wanted to propose some concept form for two Evernote release types 1) Feature Release - Updates to UI, new features (like AI stuff), security updates (catering to those that want to see new features) 2) Long Term Stable Release - UI elements frozen, no feature updates, minimal changes, mainly critical security updates (catering to those who are seeking reliability) Vetted and successful FR features flow into the next LTSR years later.
  5. This happens to me on 10.81.0 (when inside a note, selecting it to edit). Sometimes the note starts super zoomed in. Some notes are zoomed, some aren't. I had submitted a bug report a few days ago.
  6. I'm okay with updates but when I have an idea in my head and I want to immediately jot it down in Evernote, these messages distract from the thought. This is perhaps the same thing that happens with that "AI Edit" thing that pops up when you highlight within the editor. It just gets in the way of you achieving your goal. Like ads on a webpage...but at least ads are consistent and expected...these update messages are intermittent/random. It's like when you want to do something and then you are distracted, potentially causing you to totally forget what it was that you needed to do. Then you need to spend time to remember.
  7. Yeah, hitting return gives me the results. Legacy didn't require hitting return to show results which is what I'm looking for.
  8. Sure, once a new update comes in, I'll take a screen shot.
  9. Ah I figured out that the search was being conducted within a notebook. Now I can see a small list of results (about 5-10) changing without pressing enter. Legacy provides a list of all search results of every note meeting the search term continuously (as if you press entered in v10). Am I out of luck here and feedback@evernote.com is my only option?
  10. I get a constantly changing list of tags - what Legacy had was a constantly changing list of note search results.
  11. Is there a way to disable this (updated features) notice when opening up Evernote? I've been getting it often in iOS (and have seen it on the desktop app recently) and I don't really care to (immediately) know what's been improved.
  12. Thanks, I'm familiar "view note info" (but didn't know about the shortcut) and use it (in Legacy) when I'm looking for specific time stamps. It was convenient to just glance at the created date.
  13. Moving topic to the appropriate discussion area. Fresh to v10 - I figure that I'd ask... Is there an option somewhere to display - Created: month day, year Updated: month day, year above the note like in Legacy?
  14. New to the forums and moving this topic to the appropriate discussion area. I found the searching feature in legacy where it continuously (dynamically?) searches as you type (without pressing enter) useful - is there a way to enable this in v10?
