Many here like v10 and I am one of them. You don't need to belittle us just because you're angry about the end of the legacy. Those who use Evernote simply deserve respect too. Blame Evernote, Don't Blame Us

They recently reported on Twitter that they are about to launch a new section in Evernote dedicated to showing only files attached to notes. I imagine it might be useful for searching these pdfs

I'm using version 10.84.3 on Windows 10 and it works the same way as you mentioned.

Have you downloaded v10 recently? If so, perhaps you didn't wait that long for the database to be fully downloaded.

1 - I don't think v10 is horrible. 2 - I don't think v10 is slow, much less unstable. I use it every day and I'm satisfied with its speed 3 - There really are several features missing in v10. Fortunately for me, none of them are essential. I hope that in the coming months or years BS can include them

I think the best choice is to focus on the third option.

Most of the fights around here are related to this. Users defending the legacy (or defending v10) as if it were a God. Evernote is good but it's just another software. If tomorrow it ends, life continues.

If you are having so many problems with v10 then wouldn't it really be better to look for another application? Would it be that difficult to switch to another option? You talk as if you are forced to use Evernote and have no choice but I think that is an exaggeration. We all have a choice.

I don't know your life or your needs so I'm sorry if I say something wrong, but I don't think it's a good idea to be so dependent on a program that you have no control over (the end of legacy was proof of that). Do you really have no other options besides Evernote? If Evernote ended tomorrow what would you do?

I'm noticing this too and it's been a while. They are releasing several versions every few hours. This last time they released 10.83.3, 10.83.4 and finally 10.83.5 almost together.

When version 10 of Evernote was released in 2020, it was announced that it would only work on Android 10 or higher. Some time later it started working on Android 9. If your use is simple and you can't buy a new phone, you will have to switch to another application. UpNote looks interesting. Why don't you test it?

This reminds me of the theories about Elvis Presley's death. He died in 1977 but there are people who still think he is alive. They simply cannot accept the idea that death comes to everyone and that Elvis was not special. After all, he was just a human, a mortal like the rest of us. It seems the same thing is happening with legacy.

You might be right. Anyway, I don't think Evernote will give us any option to turn off IA, so if you don't want to take the risk, the only way is to stop using Evernote (and other applications that are also using IA like Notion for example). It's all or nothing!

Could anybody tell me what we can do to bring Legacy back? There's nothing to do Is there any chance they will hear us and will do something about it? No That's 100% clear that most of the users don't like the new version and want the old one (Legacy) back! You must be right but the legacy will not return. Furthermore, I believe that the new version will improve and in 1 or 2 years we will have a better Evernote than today.

There's no need to be sarcastic. Some of us are happy with v10 and others are not. Each of us has our reasons. Nobody is wrong.

I liked the new home page because it is more practical and simple. However, it doesn't make sense to include the old home page (with widgets) in the menu. I think it's better to have an option in the settings where the user can choose which page they want to start with: the old or the new. I have already sent a message to feedback@evernote.com with this suggestion.
