  1. Hi. Tools > Settings > Application to see whether your account is keeping copies of the notes on your local device. If you converted recently, the data may still be being downloaded - v10 doesn't take over the 'old' data from your app, it downloads a new version from the server, and that may take some time. If you're behind a work firewall, that might slow or prevent your access. Notwithstanding the download process you should still find that Evernote will preferentially download any notes you want to see, and will sync new content as normal. To verify that, just open Evernote.com in a browser and sign in. Hope that helps.
  2. ...And a duplicate poster too. I already answered this in a different thread (where the word 'bootleg' wasn't actually mentioned). Please don't make helpers' lives more difficult than they already are.
  3. Hi. Not one I've seen - I'd suggest you contact https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/
  4. Hi. You need to contact Support (which is not us...) via https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/ - use the Guest option to avoid logging in, and choose issue type Account. It may take some time...
  5. Usually a sign that you typed a slightly incorrect user ID and accidentally created a new account. Log out and try again?
  6. Hi. What actual app version are you using and what OS do you use for PC and laptop? Support is here for subscribers (but recently very slow...) https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/
  7. I have Evernote in W10 on an old laptop. Takes about 5 seconds to load (from SSD).
  8. Update your OS - Windows 8 is not supported.
  9. Hi. If you searched before posting you would have found about a thousand variations on the same question, with answers which boil down to: The 'free' app is limited to a maximum of 2 devices since forever It is also now limited to 50 notes and 1 notebook as of December '23. (Existing accounts with more than those totals are still accessible, but no new notes can be added.) If you follow the 'devices' warnings on screen carefully it is possible to remove additional devices and gain access - twice per month. I've done it myself. If you use up the options you have two choices: wait it out, or subscribe - for at least one month. All of this has been widely publicised, and your account email address would have been used to notify you of changes - but that address could be out of date, or your spam folder may have eaten the notifications. Free accounts do now have access to a range of previously subscription-only services, though they are intended only as a trial for users to evaluate the features available before either subscribing or looking for an alternative provider. We're mainly other users and mostly subscribers here - if you want to give Evernote your feedback, use feedback@Evernote.com
  10. Hi. You're pitching mainly to other users here, not Evernote itself. The company has some serious AI chops in its own right and will have (I would imagine) plans of their own over the next couple of years - but if you want to get in touch direct I'd try elsewhere...
  11. On a recent reinstall I had Evernote pop up a very useful list of local notebooks which I then had to import individually to preserve the structure. I did try a group select and import, but that just got me everything added to the default notebook in one big mess. I'd suggest powering the device off and back on, and then download and install the latest version from Evernote.com. Take your time and watch the screen for warnings. If your local notes are converted you'll need to export them to ENEX files in Legacy and then import them manually.
  12. Hmmn. We're mainly other users around here - you need to speak to Support who've been notable by their absence recently - I think they're a little busy. As to causes, it always used to be that a new personal account took a day or two to link into shared notes - if this individual is a new hire, maybe try again tomorrow?
  13. So. Teams account? Any trouble sharing with other members? (You might want to delete Jez's email address from this public forum before he makes a lot of new friends)
  14. For the moment, no. We're other users here, so contact Support and see whether they have any further moves in the pipeline. I've always use tables to control the size of my images and place them across the page - 2 or 3 columns seems best. I'd suggest doing the same for the moment...
  15. Hi. I've removed devices on a couple of test accounts without any issues. What's your device and OS, and can you post a screenshot of the screen that locks you out>
  16. You presumably got booted off the system because you were using a version of the app that has been unsupported for the last few years. If you download and install the latest version from Evernote.com, the upgrade should be fairly seamless. If something went wrong it would be helpful to know what device and OS you're using. It may help to uninstall Evernote completely and reinstall it - give everything a fresh start.
  17. Hi. Tools > Settings > Notes > Fit to Window
  18. You mean don't steer clear of an out-of-date insecure unsupported operating system that might risk infiltration of all our users' data? Let me think...
  19. Hi. Are you using your account to study nuclear physics or to alphabetize a stamp collection? These topics would be organised very differently. You have three main 'flags' for your content - Notebooks, Titles and Tags. Basic suggestion would be to work out a way to use those three options to best describe your content, and back it up with search - which is a far wider topic than it first appears and should help you work around any mistakes you make as a new user.
  20. Just tried your link - works fine for me straight from the browser. Did you try Evernote.com?
  21. ? You can downgrade your existing account without exporting. Just go here https://www.evernote.com/BillyBillingProfile.action and click "account level".
  22. Hi. I don't believe it's possible to change the system date format, though you can apply a date 'stamp' to a note from the system, or a text-expander app. General customer support is here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us - links to email support on most pages.
  23. Hi. Try downloading & installing the latest version from Evernote.com (your device may be lying to you).
