Today Evernote stopped itself. I tried using the browser version. This caused my free subscription limit of 2 devices to be exceeded. (I use a W10 computer and an Android phone.) When I tried to re-open the Windows client, it complained about too many devices. So I told it to remove the browser version. After a short time, the Windows client quit again. I tried again, removed the browser version (which was still listed) and was able to log in. Then it quit again. I can't do the same trick anymore since you can only remove 2 devices in some period of time. Now it just keeps quitting on me, or asking me to upgrade to the paid version. But no matter what I do, I can't log in on Windows or Android. And to get help, the ever-so-kind website says that you have to log in first. So these public forums appear to be my only choice for support. Did Evernote stop supporting the free version? If so, that would explain what I am seeing, though it is not at all obvious they way it is presented.
