  1. Hi. The current version is 10.79.3 - check with Evernote.com to get an update.
  2. Don't think there's much traffic for Teams feature requests - was going to reassign it...
  3. I gathered. Do you actually have a query, or was all this just to make a point? Links to help are on the website if you look in the right place, all through the help pages that Evernote maintains - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us - and are quoted here daily for anyone who asks. Meantime Evernote has introduced numerous improvements in service, not least the fact that loading and syncing are much faster than ever before. I'd say they are delivering on their promise.
  4. Hi. If you are a Teams user, please refer to your Admin. If not - Device? OS? Evernote version?
  5. Device? OS? Evernote version? Tried restarts or re-installing?
  6. Hi. Try updating to the latest version (10.79.3) by downloading from Evernote.com. And check your Settings.
  7. I don't know where or how it was entered (it's been a while) but the Billing (Invoices) page shows my subscription and my home address.
  8. The New Guys at Evernote have only just started to work their way through a long list of upgrades and new features. I'd think they'll be busy with that for a couple of years at least. It makes no corporate sense to spend money on developing a cut-down version of something that is not yet in a final form. Better to concentrate on developing the best package and working out all the bugs and then - maybe - find ways to lock down different areas to lower prices. There are so many other note-taking apps around that it's not worth competing for the low-end market anyway. Why spend megabucks inventing something to compete with OneNote or Keep? The money is in the areas they don't cover...
  9. The one picture, one thumbnail thing works for me - I believe there's a separate thumbnail index though; if we're talking about a recent update and a lot of pictures there might be quite a lot of thumbnailing going on in the background. -And yes (well spotted) - you can't change a file type in the note, just the name. Work-around for the moment - export file / change name / attach back to note.
  10. -And I just tried a set of JPG images in a table. Using 10.79.2 the images open in another window. (In Win 11 my system opens JPG files in a third party image editor.)
  11. Hmmn. We had some fun with email clipping over the last few days which looked suspiciously like engineers spooking around with the servers - when was the last time this worked correctly and have you tried again recently?
  12. Hmmn. Must confess on a quick view I can't actually see how you change that information. Best (but not necessarily quickest) option would be to reach out to https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new
  13. Now. What you could have said might be some thing like "Actually I'd be interested to know more about this" but what you went with was criticism of someone else's opinion - which IMHO we're all very entitled to have. As it happens, I also couldn't give a stuffed animal what third-party developers want to do with Evernote, and I think (much like the quasi-official 'bug' reports that I keep on seeing) that such information is far better sent to Evernote directly, rather than cluttering up the pages of a Forum which seems to me to be mainly for users asking for help, and for other (theoretically more experienced) users to supply it. But hey - that's just me. And my opinion.
  14. Nope - that's one of the first tickets I ever raised in legacy 15+ years ago, and the explanation was from the 'old' Evernote team then.
  15. Exactly what I do too. It's a problem for all developers that Windows tends to lock files far longer than it should when they're accessed by an app such as your scanner. There's no standard delay - the file might be available as soon as your scanner starts another job, or if that's the last one you process, the lock might stay until you close down the device. The only easy answer is to have a 'scan to' folder and move files from there to the Import folder when you're ready. As @PinkElephant says, I also take the opportunity to do any file management tasks and just check I got what I wanted in case the scanner has a mad moment. I have a file management tool I can ask to move the contents at a keystroke, and being super-nervous I also copy imported files to an external backup archive in case Evernote has one too.
  16. Hmmn. Not sure I can imagine how that happened, but if your migration was either successful, or left you with a file copy if all your notes ready to transfer, you could presumably simply delete all your notes. Obviously, complete the transfer and make sure it was successful before you start deleting things...
  17. My grandson also calls me 'grumpy', but that's neither here nor there...
  18. Hi. Your Mac may just be still logged in from last time you were able to use the old password. If you are unable to see any notes on the phone it may be that you are using the wrong password there. Sadly we're mostly users here - no access to user details. To check your password, try logging in on another device and use the 'forgot password' link at Evernote.com, or contact Support via https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new and wait.
  19. There are several other threads discussing the benefits and drawbacks of other note-taking systems. Let's not start a whole new ramble through the options here. The "best" option for any individual will be different anyway. Some users just want shipping shopping* lists and reminders. Others want coding formats and tasks. Some people like add-ins and tweaks - others prefer a ready-to-use simple solution. Best answer is to try other systems. See which one seems the best fit. More information from websites like https://noteapps.info or https://toolfinder.co Search for help online too such as https://www.wikihow.com/Migrate-from-Evernote-to-OneNote If you share what device(s) and OS you use we can maybe help you around the drawbacks you're currently seeing with Evernote. There are various 'views' forinstance, and Alt+Ctrl+N will generate a new note if Evernote is running on desktop. *EDIT: or shipping...
  20. Hi. We're mainly other users here, and while Evernote will see your post when they get around to reading it, it won't be within the next week. I'd suggest you contact Support or use feedback@Evernote,com (no replies from that one) to make sure they get your message. Good luck leaving the change over to the last minute...
  21. How nice to see people trying to help even if they're wrong. Click the top border of the HTML text to make it editable. You should be able to encrypt text - see https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005547-Encrypt-text-in-a-note for details. If you need that and it's not working for you, please contact Support. (Yes I know, but its more constructive than just venting here). Having said that, if you're encrypting something that is already online, Note History will enable you to go back to before encryption. Better to create offline and use an encrypted document file attached to the note. Which is also a useful work-around.
  22. There's a moral in there somewhere. No-one here is a shill, and no-one (including, with all respect, you) is in position to do anything but protect their interests in regards to what's happening in the real world - which is that Legacy is ending soon. Use v10 or move elsewhere - your choice. Please accept that and move on.
