  1. Hi. If it's feasible for you to do so, you could open two or more notes in separate windows to switch between them - I don't believe they will reset when you switch.
  2. Evernote are (they say) in process of completely re-coding all of their apps for all operating systems (See the Evernote Blog), so they may have already included some upgrades. But they don't preview details, so we'll probably have to wait until the new versions hit the streets to see what new features exist.
  3. Same experience - I work on three screens (because I don't have room for four...) and my new notes pop up on the extreme right-hand one. Occasionally I disconnect the laptop from this setup and then spend some minutes cursing as each new window opens 'somewhere else' on my original setup. Windows key + arrows gets them back - and then dis-arranges my multi-screen setup for next time... 😏
  4. Hmmn. Sorry - this seems to be a Windows vs Mac thing - Maybe a text-expander app? I use Phrase Express (again Windows) where it's possible to automate a repetitive series of keystrokes into one hotkey combination...
  5. I asked whether you were posting notes in a business account or a personal account, and (as above) you seemed unsure. A Business account (as I understand it) normally comes with an attached Premium account for each individual user, which would have a different set of notes from the global business library of shared notes. A basic account - which is what you're showing as using here - could be your own personal account too. If you have more than one account I wondered if you had saved the notes in a different one from the one you were looking at....
  6. Hi. If you can't see these notes on your mobile device, then it has the sync problem - try logging out of Evernote and back in / restarting the device / reinstalling the app. No clue about the 'old' web version - it's a different view of the same server account, so should show everything...
  7. Hi. You're not a subscriber, so you have a note size limit of 25MB and a monthly upload limit of 60MB. If you think you can attach images into your notes within those limits and sync them to Evernote, you could try. Beware that the images will be re-coded into your Evernote database and re-converted back to the original format if you wish to view or print them. Image size or quality may be affected. I tend to backup/ archive my images to an external hard drive, not Evernote.
  8. Oddly, for lots of users (including me) this works just fine - I get new notes popping up ready with the cursor flashing in the title field (optioned that way) ready for entry. There's another thread around here where we tried all sorts of tricks - logging out of the app just after creating a new note, clearing cookies, searching registries - but eventually came to the conclusion that it just works that way with some systems... Given the easy work-around I'd doubt it's high priority for Evernote to find/ fix - and they don't (usually) share what's in the pipeline anyway.
  9. If you're a Business user, you'll have priority access to Evernote Support. You're showing here as a Basic user which (I think) means this personal account is not connected to a Business account... if there's some doubt which account the notes are in, maybe that's the issue?
  10. Evernote are (they say) in process of completely re-coding all of their apps for all operating systems (See the Evernote Blog), but they don't preview details, so we'll probably have to wait until the new versions hit the streets to see what new features exist. See this thread so far... I use Google Calendar and link back to my Evernote notes for details.
  11. Hi. I understand the frustration, but this is a -mainly- user-supported Forum. Although Evernote staffers do read the posts here, and there are Admins to keep everyone in line, there's no guarantee when that will be. Evernote are (they say) in process of completely re-coding all of their apps for all operating systems (See the Evernote Blog), so they may have already included some upgrades. But they don't preview details, so we'll probably have to wait until the new versions hit the streets to see what new features exist.
  12. Hi. Don't know of anything specific that might cause such behaviour - my Windows app (same version) opens links in my browser quite happily. Have you tried powering your system off and on again? Uninstalling and reinstalling the app?
  13. Well that's just weird. There's no current issue (AFAIK) with notes not being visible in Android, or in being able to log into the app... You're posting in an Evernote Business thread - is that correct? Are these notes in a business or a personal account?
  14. Hmmn. From your original post I take it that you can see your notes in the browser version, so apparently nothing is lost - just that your phone won't log in correctly. How about uninstalling / restarting / re-downloading and reinstalling the app on the phone? (And are we talking Android or iOS here?)
  15. Hi. Chances are you have either mistakenly attempted to set up a new account with your existing details, or you have registered as connecting too many devices to your account with the reset 'phone. If login won't work, try revoking access. More information here... Understanding the device limit
  16. Hi. Evernote don't usually provide updates as such - either the feature is available, or it's not: and in this case it isn't. Sorry.
  17. Installed - though I got asked for permissions 3 times during the process, and the initial window warned that my system might restart - which it didn't, eventually. Everything seems back anyways... more to follow when I get chance to use the new version.
  18. Hi. Have you checked your notes by signing into your account via a desktop browser at Evernote.com? Notes are not stored on mobile devices - they sync back to the main database online.
  19. Hi. Just to be clear - is this Evernote Web, or the installed Desktop version? And is this a PDF which you have created by printing or scanning a document, or one which you have downloaded from somewhere? PDF files should display inline and not show an 'empty' icon, but if it's a large and/ or recent addition Evernote maybe hasn't quite caught up yet. As you're a subscriber, you could contact support if this is an issue with more note attachments.
  20. Hi. If you do want to edit the note, have you tried opening it in a separate window? What would you prefer happens here?
  21. Hi. If you're still collaborating on that note and want to make further changes, I think it's best left in the 'chat' area. If you just want to keep a record of progress so far, could you duplicate the note and move the copy to one of your notebooks?
  22. Glad you;re getting some responses - let us know how you get on!
