  1. Hi. It's possible, but I don;t know whether it would be productive. See https://fortelabs.co/blog/randomnote-web/ One of these might also be relevant... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spaced_repetition
  2. Hi. The error message you are getting says the HTTP address of the feature-care page is not valid. Are you trying to clip some part of that page? What exactly do you mean when you say "Evernote has stopped working"?
  3. Hi. It's not an Evernote process, but you can check Firefox help to export your bookmarks to an HTML file, then open that file in Evernote and use Clipper normally to clip the page. All your bookmarks in one searchable note.
  4. Hi. The recipient need not be a user or subscriber. Upgrading from free to subscriber does not include any greater sharing permission. Share notes
  5. Hi. Are these searchable PDFs? If so, they should be searchable...though doing so from a phone screen may be less than efficient. If they are not searchable PDFs then you'd need to wait a short time while Evernote's servers OCR the content to create a searchable index - an hour or two should see them searchable.
  6. Hi. This is a thread about Evernote Business which has its own complications. Do you have a standard Premium account? If you didn't get a ticket number for your issue, then Evernote have not received it. If you did get a ticket number, then 1) technically you have had a response from support and 2) Virus Pandemic / Holiday Weekend - I'm sure they'll get back to you in a day or so. If you still don't have a follow-up, please post your ticket number here and we'll try to help out.
  7. Fair point, but its still a glitchy process and could be a lot smoother!
  8. Hi. 10 whole minutes? Although subscribers get priority with OCR operations, you do have to wait for your device to sync with the server - which might be 15 minutes or so - and then for the server to do the OCR and sync the changed file(s) back again... another 15 minutes? If it's not searchable by now, please contact Support...
  9. Hi. I think you answered your own question. Your new MBP has to download all your notes and create various search and thumbnail indexes. This will take a little while. Give it 24 hours and look again?
  10. If you install from the Windows store, it's essentially the same thing; but it won't make any difference. Maybe look at external handwriting / drawing apps and attach the output file to your note? Copy/ paste the content if that's important for searching, but edit the original file in the external app.
  11. Personally I just share a link to an Evernote. Doesn't matter (usually) what OS or device my sharee may choose to use to view the link, it's always visible...
  12. ? You're welcome. The keyboard shortcut is: "click on the image". You should see a blue line outline on the image with a little blue square at the bottom right. Click on and move the square...
  13. Hi. Your statement doesn't seem to make any sense... why do you need to move notes into notebooks, and what happens that you need to force stop the app??? If you create a new note it is already in a notebook. More explanation please with screen shots if possible...
  14. Hi. Why, exactly, would you need to add a note that you just created to a list of shortcuts? Sort your All Notes list by 'created date' and you immediately have a list of the last 20 or so notes you have created (or that have been created with or without your intervention) without any problem at all...???
  15. Could be in the Trash notebook, conflicting edits or just unsynced notes. Try the tag trick as suggested by @DTLow and see what comes up...
  16. Hmmn. Just for information, there's 'another' clipper out there which you may or may not be willing to use. You'll need a Google Drive (or Docs) account because this is the Google Drive Clipper which (I think) will do somewhat similar things to Evernote's own... just saving to a Google Doc near you - though given Evernote's Google integration, that might not be a problem. Ironically I can't -currently- test it because you must be logged into your browser profile before it will work, and Brave don't support that. Firefox might be OK though. Not saying this is a definite alternate, but it might be worth a look if you want to stick with Firefox. Look for a Google Drive Clipper in the Firefox add-in store...
  17. I'm currently engaged (Windows desktop) in setting up notebooks in a stack, basically going through my default notebook, identifying notes that have a common factor, then creating a notebook into which to move the notes. Something along the lines of 'zero inbox' I'm looking to have a logical place for every note I have. I find a note that has a factor I recognise has occurred several times - a name, an account number, an email address and do a search to find out how many notes I have which include that term. If I have more than a few I'll create a new notebook with that term as the notebook name. I'm sitting there with 100 or so (for example) notes listed, and I right-click the Stack name to create my new notebook. If that name has already been used (it happens) I get told and I can move my selected notes into the correct notebook. If my new notebook is created, the focus immediately switches to the new, empty notebook. Then I back-arrow to my previous display and Move the notes across. Or click and drag... etc etc... Now that is only one extra keystroke, but after doing it a 100 or so times, it is getting frustrating... Please don't switch away from the current view when I create a new notebook. All the other ways I tried to create a new notebook - searching in the Notebook drop-down of a single note, selecting several notes and typing the notebook name into the Move dialogue - all just get me a blank look from the app. Why is there no helpful dialogue - "<my new notebook name> not found - retype or create new?" Please add a "create new?" option to other menus. I appreciate we're currently waiting nervously for a big relaunch which will 'harmonise' various UI's, so maybe this is already in train... but it would definitely be a much faster process to refile notes if creating a new notebook took a little less time.
  18. Hi. The installed app is not connected to Scannable - better to reinstall the Scannable app. Don't know whether that would work. If not, and you don't have any history stored in the app, you could also try creating a new Scannable account...if that's possible: I'm not an iPhone or a Scannable user!
  19. Hi. I think you'll find that if you leave the white page long enough, Evernote will load. The new beta version seems to be v-e-r-y s-l-o-w to load on some systems. You can switch to another browser, change the web version you use back to the 'old' UI and then go back to Firefox if you wish - otherwise patience (as they say) is a virtue - and there is a 'feedback' button on the new web page when you get to it! 21. AFAICS the Evernote / Google "integration" gives you easier access to the drive to manage your links, and prettier links; but it doesn't add anything to the experience of clicking the link and opening the attached file. Files can be linked to notes from any local or any of the available cloud storage providers, no integration required.
  22. Agreed it's a (kinda) demonstration of the direction in which we're headed, but there should be more and better features in the full package.
  23. Don't think Support will be chipping in here, but other members might have some ideas... I'm sure I've seen Evernote commenting that they were aware of a situation and were looking at a fix to be included with a 'future release', but there's no indication of how far in the future that will be...
