  1. Hmmn. I updated to v10.40 (Windows) this morning, so maybe that's the trick.
  2. Try clicking the 'magic wand' symbol (where it's available) to convert the content to editable text - copy paste works then...
  3. Having trouble with the logic here - their services aren't free, so they no longer exist? You may not find a value in having your scanned or forwarded notes tagged, titled and sorted into notebooks, but I do...
  4. Hi. Screenshots of the popup always help in situations like this... Does it offer you a tour of the feature? Did you accept and run through it? The app presumably sets a flag to show that the message is not required in future - is it possible that you have an AV or firewall that is blocking the cookie?
  5. Hi. No clue. Notebooks should be exactly what you call them. What's your device / OS / Evernote version and can we have a screen shot of the offending name?
  6. Hi. If it all looks like a new account, it probably is. Try logging out and sign in again, very carefully checking that you have the correct user details. (There's a 'forgot password' option on Evernote.com which might help.)
  7. Hi. This being a (mainly) user-supported Forum none of that is actually useful here. If you're a subscriber you could contact Support on this, otherwise please confirm the device, OS and Evernote version you're using...
  8. Evernote clipper works in Chrome on all my devices, though none of them are Mac. One of my colleagues may be able to help, thought this seems more a Chrome issue than Evernote...
  9. Hi. Evernote v10 currently allows you to download a maximum of 50 notes if you're selecting at random, or the content of 1 notebook (which can be more than 50 notes) - in each case to export those notes either to HTML or to ENEX. There's no automation support that I'm aware of to allow you to repeat the notebook choice / export process 180 times. Legacy however will give you the option to copy the whole database if you wish. I'm currently running Legacy on a separate device to support my backups. I use a paid-for app 'Backupery' which will run through my database of 300+ notebooks and save 57K (or so) notes without my intervention. There are other third party systems which may or may not work with v10. See https://blog.cloudhq.net/how-and-why-you-should-backup-evernote/ as example. The 'one Notebook at a time' process is advised because Evernote's export process does not keep Notebook metadata. If you restored from a whole account backup, you'd get all your notes in one notebook. If all you wish to do is to literally have a reference copy of your account in case of catastrophic loss, then the ENEX backup is restorable to Evernote - and some other note-taking apps. If you're looking to have a usable copy of your database outside of Evernote, then you'd have to experiment with the HTML backup to see what options are available. There are more threads here on that topic - you'd have to do some internet searches to catch up with that. Let us know if you have more questions...
  10. Hi. We're not Evernote support, so can't access technical data - I'd suggest you contact Support directly, meantime don't do anything with the device you were using - but do sign in to your account via a browser at Evernote.com to see what (if anything) is recorded there, plus -just in case- start noting what you can remember of the meeting so that you have some records of what went on.
  11. Hi. Please search the Forums before posting - https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/142521-web-links-not-working-they-just-open-my-evernote-app-home-page/#comment-659162
  12. Wasn't a 'workflow' as such - just wondering why, since recovering from inadvertently getting to that point was so easy, the change in app logic was being requested. Since -as you point out- there's an easier option available too, I don't know where any further work on this would stand in general priorities.
  13. That would be here... https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/forum/730-evernote-for-mac-requests-versions-100-and-above/
  14. Is there a reason you're not using Evernote's built-in screenshot tools, or Clipper for this purpose? Skitch was released years ago and it appears it isn't fully compatible with v10, hence the locked notes...

  16. ...Unless it was designed that way? If you click the shortcut to that note, I think the team assumed you wanted to work on that note, so to add focus, they removed extraneous details like the note list. If you open your note in a new window and click 'back', you'll get back to the normal display and can browse or choose again; but the fact that this doesn't suit your preferred workflow does not mean that it drives anyone else crazy. Maybe add this as a Feature request and see what support you have?
  17. Weird. I'm on EN 10.39 on Windows and it works fine for me... Tried a restart? / Update to latest version? (from Evernote.com - the App Store isn't there yet)
  18. The App Store tend to lag behind with updates since they have their own processes to verify and approve the content. Evernote always have the latest version.
  19. I'm sure Evernote will terminate any coders responsible. However bad things occasionally happen spontaneously, and it's convenient if you can find a workaround, so congratulations on having done so. The upgrade is still being rolled out and I don't believe the announcement has been posted yet - I'd suggest you contact Support in the meantime for a more timely intervention.
  20. Evernote posted this - Note: After a thorough review, we have made the decision to end our friend referral program as of May 2021. You are still able to redeem all unexpired points that have been earned through this program. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208314268 - but didn't specify how the redemption would be organised. You'd be best advised to contact Support - see
  21. Sorry - skipped a medication again... I still think we're overthinking this - you updated (checks thread nervously) your desktop and (I assume) your phone automatically updated, so they're both on the same level of client. There's no reason why both devices should not 'see' the same notes, unless one or the other is not syncing to the server correctly. Evernote has a standard help page on the topic, and @agsteele just came up with another valid possibility - have you checked how many devices Evernote thinks are connected to your account? Tips for troubleshooting syncing issues Understanding the device limit
