Hi. You would need to be a subscriber and got to the Support page https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new. Complete the details of your issue(s) there and you should then see the Chat option.

Could you show us a screenshot of an example (short) note that has been affected in this way, both as it now is, and after you have reformatted it back to its original state? I'm not clear what's happening here - Evernote has been adding and removing line breaks and padding spaces, partly (I guess) because they now need to reformat everything into the current font and apply the necessary "wrapper" coding. I've been combatting that where necessary with 'simplify formatting' and some strategic deletions, but it hasn't affected my notes as badly. It's definitely worth feeding this back to the Support team too!

Looks like the original posts here were about Evernote 10.17 and a year later I'm now on Win 11 and v10.45. so I'd say the world had moved on a bit... I'm not seeing the same freeze when windows lose the focus - have you checked Task Manager to see what's going on? Have you tried uninstalling Evernote (using Revo uninstaller to get everything off) and then restart / reinstalling? What device do you have?

We're (mostly) Evernote users, but not actually Evernote folks; and while the conversation here gets a bit emotional from time to time, it is a fact that Evernote did not include a folder hierarchy in their Legacy or the new versions. To simulate the same layout, use tags. To use a hierarchical folder layout, use other software. No matter how impassioned the arguments, Evernote are unlikely to introduce this a deeper hierarchy feature anytime soon. For more from Evernote folks - try Support.

Hi. That's (obviously) not an Evernote technical issue - have you tried the OneNote forums, or is there any support from Stefan? It's highly unlikely but possible that Evernote may have changed the ENEX output format enough to confuse that app, but it's a certainty they won't be changing it back again. And I doubt that anyone with a successful export from Evernote will still be reading the Forums... but good luck with that.

Please confirm all of the above as well as: Are you a new user? Are your shared notes coming from a new user? Did you receive any emailed invitations?

Hi. In the new version 10 it's not yet possible to specify a default font. You could set up a template note and use that to create a standard setting.

Hi - I've no doubt it is possible, but it's a rare occurrence, so why spend funds on development and add complexity to the various apps? And thousands of users want other features developed / fixed / extended - where to fit this in priorities? Medium term: it's easier and quicker for users to find their own solution.

Hi. Evernote is a cloud-based app that gives you access to your notes - which are stored on Evernote's servers - from any device that logs into your account. ...What @CalS said: I use Phrase Express to 'automate' things like search terms and date stamps, and (in Windows) I'm looking at Power Automate which (allegedly) can automate whole processes - potentially (for example) running a search, adding a tag and moving files to a specific notebook. Still haven't played with this yet though. The difference is scripting uses the app itself to run a series of processes. Automation just fools the app into believing that its existing buttons are being pushed in the usual way.
