  1. Hmmn. I think Support should be your next call (which is not us - mostly users here). Subscribers can raise support queries here - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new and all users here - https://twitter.com/evernotehelps (or via the feedback option where it is available)
  2. Hi. Device / OS / Evernote version? -Have you tried several sources? Some web pages/ apps may be more difficult to copy images from.
  3. Hi. My Windows 11 system just updated to 10.51.7 and I can still create tasks without issue. What's your (Windows) device / OS / Evernote version? When uninstalling / reinstalling did you include a restart and choose the 'remove my data from this device' option?
  4. So you're going to withhold funding for improvements until you get to help pick which ones go forward? You may be waiting for some time...
  5. Hi. Your phone should automatically sync anything you stored there to Evernote's servers, so logging into your account via another device should be all you need to do. If you don't see your notes, try the 'forgotten password' link on Evernote.com to confirm that you're using the right sign-in details.
  6. WTF? What's a "TSW Website and manifesto?" I can export my notes wihtout issues. Importing should also be pretty easy... What exactly are you trying to achieve??
  7. - Vs the energy spent by users who just want that 'extra feature' added to suit their own convenience? - and for the record Evernote isn't ignoring anyone. The company simply has not commented whether, or when it will introduce this option - just like the other thousands of style / layout / bells-n-whistle feature requests in the forums. And as for "justified" - which bit of this feature does not currently exist - you need to find a different way do you find especially unreasonable?
  8. Funnily enough, crunchbase shows Evernote to be only a little smaller than 'Spoons - Evernote - Crunchbase Company Profile & Funding - and while no-one knows exactly what the deal is here, it would appear that it's not a fire sale - the Spoons management are enthusiastic Evernote users with plans to add value... although encryption may still not be their main focus.
  9. I think if the 70 people supporting this request want to move to different software, the company (and its other 200M or so users) may manage to survive the shock...
  10. Hi. We're not the "Evernote Team" - this is a mainly user-supported forum. You'd need to contact Support for assistance, but I suspect they would tell you that deleted notes commonly wind up in the Trash notebook. Notes deleted from Trash however are two-time losers and not recoverable. If you kept a backup of your system, or have a device that has not been synced since the deletions, you might be able to find 'old' copies of the original notes. Otherwise, I'm afraid, they are completely gone.
  11. Hi. We're mostly not Evernote here - just other users - so you'd have to raise a support ticket to get the company to look at your Evernote inbox. Meantime - can you find any common factors in the 'lost' emails? Were they sent from a different email location (work vs home, or mobile vs desktop??)
  12. Hi. Device & OS? Have you tried the installed app? Is Opera based on Chrome? If not it seems unlikely that Evernote found a way to crash two browsers based on different operating principles at the same time... Also - are you accessing from a business or private connection, and have you tried any other browsers?
  13. Careful what you wish for... I use Tables of Content to list things like "tasks due in 7+ days" and every one of those tasks now has a backlink to the ToC. Not necessarily a bad thing, but for one reason or another I suspect I have a lot of active backlinks. We could definitely do with more details of how this works, plus any related commands... all I can find so far is here - https://evernote.com/blog/q4-2022-roundup/ One thing I'd like is a way to delete a backlink. Removing the actual link doesn't seem to work... the target note still shows the backlink info even after syncing the newly unlinked version.
  14. Hi. Evernote does not default to keeping anything permanent on a mobile device. There's lots in temporary storage, which will be cleared if it's needed, but unless you opt to keep notebooks on your device for 'offline access', the only permanent thing there will be a search index. If in doubt, sync Evernote, then uninstall the app and power the phone off and on again to clear caches. Reinstall Evernote.
  15. Hi. The usual explanation is that you have logged into a new 'empty' account by using slightly incorrect login details. Sign out and try again carefully - there's a 'forgot password' option on Evernote.com if you need help.
  16. Hi. Looks like a log/ start/ install issue... in increasing order of need - Sign out of Evernote and then back in. Check display. Sign out of Evernote, restart the device, then sign back in. Check display. Sign out of Evernote, uninstall the app, restart the device, then sign back in. Check display. If those all fail - contact Support
  17. Hi. If this was a third-party product, it was written by another company and would have used Evernote's published API to link into the application. Evernote would have no particular knowledge of the app or the developer, and would have no power to 'release' anything. I'd never heard of it in 15 years of using Evernote, but maybe an internet search or two might help you - the name at least is still out there... RitePen for Windows - Free download and software reviews - CNET Download
  18. Hi. If you can't find a setting in your Personal Settings to reduce the frequency, then it has been suggested that going through with the upgrade process... but dropping out before payment may win you a reprieve. Failing that, as a subscriber, you can submit a ticket to Support to feedback your feeling that these are unwanted reminders, or use the Feedback option in some clients. We're mainly other users here, so no inside information I'm afraid...
  19. From the conversation so far I got that this app will save any tweets you select - but you could easily try it and see...
  20. Hi. Select the top note, scroll down; select the bottom note. Up to 100 intermediate notes will be selected. Beware that large scale deletions will require some time to sync through to the server - make changes on one device and give it plenty of time to update.
  21. Hi. Device? OS? Browser? -And since you're presumably not using iOS (which is the topic of this thread) - please repost in the correct forum.
