Yeah, haven’t noted it myself. Maybe because I rarely open a new notebook - my organization is based on tags.
As said, it can’t be removed, but it disappears when the section is collapsed.

Usually the web client counts as 1 "device", no matter on how many physical computers it is used.
Maybe there is something on your work network environment that blocks the web client from syncing. Network security for companies is getting stricter all the time - some companies now use a strict whitelisting to protect their networks. This means if a site is not positively listed, the firewall will block access.
To find out about it, contact you company IT or help desk.

In general: The encryption is military grade - it can’t be broken, only unlocked by official means.
You can try a database switch, but it could create a mess once the replaced database and the data on the server try to merge. Either it replaces new data by old on the server, or you get new notes created.
Both will very fast eat your entire upload limit - it’s only 60MB on FREE. And then you can’t edit anything for 30 days, unless you subscribe.
I wouldn’t try this to recover a single note.
The straightforward approach is to subscribe for a month, and then use note history.

OK, with 80 GB you should have safe sailing.
EN staff mentioned on my support ticket that they may have a calculation problem for free space on Macs that have storage management through iCloud enabled.

Whom are you asking („you“), and why ?
My answer: No.

To really stop the app from execution, you need to use the „Quit“ command. Closing only closes a window, not the app itself. And killing one of the tasks in task manager will not stop the whole app, depending on how vital the process is you kill. In general because the app may be doing something relevant like syncing or cleaning up data killing it through the Task Manager should be avoided, if possible.
As I said: File menu and Quit, or ctrl-Q is the clean way to close EN completely down.

We had a few reports about recent syncing problems with legacy. They seem to have sorted themselves out after some hours.
We expect that syncing to legacy will stop any time in the future. But we expect as well that EN will notify users before this happens. Since legacy and v10 sync into the same database, you could simply install v10, let it sync and have access to your notes anyhow. So probably there will be a warning, but not necessarily with a long lead time.

Have you logged out, and now have logged in again. And the account is completely empty ?
Or is a part there, and a part is missing ?

You should check if 10.58.3 is already installed on the Macs, and EN iOS 10.51.1 on the mobiles.
If not, update, restart the devices and try again.

45GB is not much. The system may start swapping between RAM and SSD. An update of MacOS easily takes up 30GB, temporarily. System resources need to breathe, in the GB-range. Etc.
EN has meanwhile confirmed that the calculation of space on Macs may be a little too conservative.
So I wouldn’t bother too much. The only problem is that up to now you can’t turn the message off …

~/Library/Containers/com.evernote.Evernote/Data The first symbol means your Mac User directory. It is possible these locations are hidden. Which means you can’t see them unless you unhide hidden folders. Here is how:

Don’t know since when you are on Pro. Usually the change takes effect on a client when you make a logout/quit/restart/login action after the server account has upgraded.

All these options are behind the Aa button, and have ever been there since v10 was launched.
Other formatting options can be reached by scrolling the little menu bar to the left, showing more buttons to the right. The 3 symbols far left don't scroll, start scrolling in the middle.

 

This is a known issue with the latest releases of EN on Android.
It‘s not a general bug of the mobile client - adding pictures works undisturbed on iOS.
You can only contact support, and hope for a fix. As a workaround you can add picture through the file attachment button. It’s not the same, since you need to save the picture first from the camera roll to the device memory, to then add it in a second step.

This is related to the conversion of the note to the new RTE data structure. It happens once per note.
If you search the forum, you find many threads with more information.

What sort of screen clip ? Using the EN helper ?
There is a ton of methods to clip a screen.

@NightStalker The mob, in relation to Italy or Italians is quite broadly used as a synonym for the Mafia, Cosa Nostra, or whatever you want to call them. Organized crime, of whatever flavor. Either you knew this, or you have learned it now. So instead of playing it down, I think it would be the better approach to avoid wordings with meanings that can easily be misunderstood.
Apart from this it is not important that BS is an Italian company. They are acting and marketing their apps (most of them) on the international market, so they already play on the same turf as EN. And since they were able to acquire EN, the writing on the wall tells they have been more successful than EN with their activities.
What I like in general with European companies holding my data is that GDRP applies. In this respect BS being Italian is a positive sign for data security and privacy.

Sure, it simply works.
Offline is standard on desktop clients, it’s a subscribers feature on mobile. On desktop you download all, or opt out of it. On mobile you choose the notes or notebooks to download.
If you can’t search (you don’t tell about your clients), you have a corrupted download. It depends on the client how to replace the bad local database by a fresh one.
 I sometimes do quite some cleanup work while on the train, offline. It is equivalent to some days of regular use. It syncs when I go back online, and that’s it. I think with a server link from time to time you should do ok.
If possible avoid to use several clients for note editing while not syncing. Creating new notes is no issue (they will not be a available on any other client before synced), but editing the same note on different, unsynced clients will likely create conflicts and duplication.
Contact to support should work if you issued a ticket, using one of the official channels.

First observation: You run an outdated client. Current version is 10.56. You better update.
Second could it be you switched the default display option for a pdf in EN settings, Notes to „title only“ ? Alternatives are Single pages and All pages.

Check on the iOS apps settings, tab notes, advanced editing options the option for „telephone“. The toggle switch decides if EN converts numbers into clickable phone numbers.
