K55 3 Posted February 25 Share Posted February 25 I have Legacy on one computer and the current version on another. The Legacy version has the red banner at the top saying that it will go away on March 20. However, as of midday yesterday, it stopped syncing. There is no error message. In my account, it says the device is still linked. I tried to open a ticket, but all I can get it to do is send me canned answers. I know I have to give up, but I much prefer Legacy and was planning to keep adding all my new notes that way as long as possible. Link to comment

p1154 12 Posted February 26 Share Posted February 26 https://joplinapp.org/ has very good ability to import evernote notebooks although you have to import one notebook at a time. I would suggest use Joplin to Import Evernote ENEX files as "Markdown" format and this has been working quite well for me. Link to comment

It would be nice to be able to sync while I migrate though. Hopefully, this is a temporary issue, not the end of the legacy version. Link to comment

It may be, as others suggested, that the number of people logging on to Legacy (maybe some for the first time in quite awhile, others to download everything) overwhelmed them for a bit. Joplin is faster than Legacy but does not have as many features. For my purposes Joplin is much much better than V10. I think it was just too many requests send to the API in a short period of time. Practically a user induced DDOS event, that healed itself when the flow ebbed off. It makes a difference if the one or other note is synced, compared to handling full downloads. 1 Link to comment
