ghon 107 Posted February 22, 2024 Posted February 22, 2024 Good news at least from an UI perspective 😉 The AI Cleanup button is going to be moved to the far right side and it will become an "AI edit" button according to a post in X from Evernote 3 1
sabrina_b 0 Posted March 2, 2024 Posted March 2, 2024 Why I can't see the AI Edit-Button in my Evernote? I have the Version 10.78.2. and Professional Version. I can't understand it...
Level 5 PinkElephant 9,253 Posted March 3, 2024 Level 5 Posted March 3, 2024 Because all AI stuff is still a beta test. Some users get it, in different versions, for blind testing. If you don’t have it, it may appear at any time. Or it doesn’t … 2
Evernote Expert mackid1993 1,673 Posted March 3, 2024 Evernote Expert Posted March 3, 2024 It's quite nice. So it doesn't modify your content. It will generate a suggestion and allow you to copy and paste. Much better than AI cleanup and it can do a ton more too. 1
Evernote Expert Jon/t 1,991 Posted March 4, 2024 Evernote Expert Posted March 4, 2024 If anyone who hasn't got access wants to see it working I recorded a pretty in-depth video the other day for my newsletter. https://tamingthetrunk.substack.com/p/first-look-at-evernotes-new-ai-edit 2 2
Level 5 Dave-in-Decatur 4,256 Posted March 15, 2024 Level 5 Posted March 15, 2024 I've now got this button in v. 10.79.3 of the Windows desktop app. See screenshot below. I don't know what tiny window or monitor the developers were using, but in any reasonably sized window (the screenshot below is from a window that takes up most of a 17 inch laptop screen), there is massive blank space between the "More" button and the "AI EDIT" button, which means that many editing tools, including especially the highlighter, are hidden under "More" when there is obviously plenty of room to display them. Seriously?

thefryhole 146 Posted March 15, 2024 Posted March 15, 2024 In 10.80.3 the editing tools extend across the ribbon to the AI Edit button. I guess there's still a little bit of space but nothing like the image from the previous version.

I'm still on 10.79, and a leeetle bit hesitant to go to 10.80, even 80.3; but maybe they've got that fixed in that update.
Dave Edwards 265 Posted March 18, 2024 Posted March 18, 2024 Here's my test drive of the new AI Edit too https://daveedwardsmedia.com/2024/03/18/evernotes-ai-edit-tool/
Teos2515 9 Posted July 29, 2024 Posted July 29, 2024 I didn`t have such problems. The new AI Edit button in Evernote seems promising, but if you're interested in exploring more ways to leverage AI for creative tasks, check out this guide on using AI to extend an image here https://netizensreport.com/how-to-use-ai-to-extend-an-image/ . It offers insights that could complement the features being tested in Evernote's latest version.
