Reoccurring tasks

Have we heard any updates on the beta for reoccurring tasks? I heard first quarter and signed up for it but I have heard nothing. I have a “work around” but can’t wait to see what’s they roll out

Yes, I'm also waiting for it.  In the mean time, what is your workaround?

I know you are not asking me. But the workaround that I use is to move the due due date forward when I have completed the task. I still use Reminders for some reoccurring tasks, but for the ones I have in EN this method works for now.

Yeh I basically do the same. I also use the "flag" option for anything i want to re-occur. I can then check each week for anything flagged that i have completed in error (rather than changed the due date) as a safety net. Obvs this is the clunkiest workaround in the history of workarounds, but we should only have to wait a short whole longer

REALLY hoping that we get where tasks with a future date disappear from view  at least until the day of.  I've abandoned all of my previous efforts to find the perfect task manager (Things, Omnifocus, ToDoist, Reminders) in favor of keeping everything all together in EN.  Just hoping there is a big overhaul to how Tasks functions, soon

Would be nice to be able to create saved searches for tasks so we could create searches/views for Today, Tomorrow, Next 7 days etc.

Doesn't the sort by due date do what you suggest?
