2 DavidWainwright 2
This is a good idea. I would love a keyboard shortcut that allowed me to set a reminder. Preferably it would pop up with a window that let you select the date and time of the reminder. 2 Link to comment

For sure. You can simulate keyboard shortcuts for reminders using PhraseExpress or AutoHotkey. Personally I created Create with date, Change date, and Close (Alt+1, Alt+2, Alt+3). Works until/if EN adds the capability. Link to comment
0 tjohnsoniv1200 0
This would be a huge plus for me. I always use reminders, and its very frustrating that they removed the hotbutton. Have to go to the dropdown list. VERY CLUNKY. I may have to change what i use if they don't fix it. Link to comment

0 aukirk 368
+1! It is a difficult process to add/change/clear reminders on both the Mac and iOS apps... but particularly odd for the mac app, since everything else has such great keyboard shortcuts Link to comment

0 aukirk 368
Since this is resurfaced... hopefully Evernote v10 can just add a keyboard shortcut to open the set reminder screen... seems like a light-weight lift (but what do I know, a there are a number of other things like sorting search results by any column that I would have thought are light-weight lifts, but we are still waiting) Link to comment

Still need to wait for Evernote, which we have waited since 2018 or earlier. Link to comment
0 Level 5* CalS 5,307 Posted June 1, 2021 Level 5* Share Posted June 1, 2021 Or as stated above roll your own if you get tired of waiting. I use Autohorkey for reminder actions and searches. Have had the benefit for a few years now. Also use AHK in other apps where there is a missing hotkey or a repetitive process (like cleaning up and forwarding mail while adding notebooks and tags). From my dipping of toes into desktop V10 I will have more to add if I end up going that way. FWIW. Link to comment
