  1. I think I've seen something like this in the Windows client, a spinning blue circle for a long time. I've noticed that if you close the note and reopen it, everything syncs immediately. This is indeed something that could be improved...
  2. When I said, images are stored much faster, I meant camera pictures appear much faster in my editor. Before it took more than 10 seconds to even see it in my editor.
  3. I successfully smoke tested the RTE sync on my 4 year old samsung A50, on my windows client and on the web client. The results are really impressive ! All race condition bugs and deadlocks are history (so far) Images are stored much faster (factor 10) Collaborative editing is real time indeed, even on my old A50 phone with 4Gb ram It seems that the life of my 4 year old phone can now be extended by several years 🙂 The EN developers have now fully regained control over the sync and performance issues 👍👍 I will do more thoroughly testing and keep you informed...
  4. I reinstalled legacy from https://cdn1.evernote.com/win6/public/Evernote_6.25.3.9348.exe and they co-exist nicely on my system again. Conclusion: new updates uninstall legacy now, but we can still reinstall it afterwards...

  6. So you can still run both, but not at the same time? I can live with that limitation of having to stop the other first. But do you really need to uninstall?

  8. I have the same problem after update to version 10.55 Now we don't have a working html backup anymore. When will they finally fix their half baked implementation ?

  10. While I still don't have a collaborative editor, I'm already noticing performance improvements with the new 10.50.3 release. And more importantly, the hangup I reported last week seems to be resolved so far. I have the impression that they are regaining control of their software 👍

  13. Yeah, electron/react apps force people to buy a new phone every 3 years, creating a dramatic amount of e-waste. Very bad for the planet
  14. Good to hear that the new sync is still compatible with legacy, and that it works flawlessly on mid-range Android phones as well. What phone type do you use?
  15. my question is whether edited or newly created notes in your latest V10 can still be edited in legacy later on. Or in other words, is the database and note format still downwards compatible?

  19. The ticket is directly followed up now by the Director of Technical Support. Hopefully, after two years, this kind of issues gets more attention now...
  20. Yeah, and this is still relatively fast since I just reinstalled everything. After a week, it"s already much slower. But have you noticed the actual problem that when back in the note list, I clicked several notes attempting to open them, but the client was unresponsive from then on, for hours, until I restart the client (although everything is synced, I checked that in my other clients)
