It's a 6 year old phone with 3GB of RAM. I don't know if that has anything to do with it? Perhaps the Apple fans on this forum can tell you more about this? Do you also have problems with the evernote desktop client or web client?

And related to that, how can we back up our beloved note links? What's the point of providing new note link functionality without backup capability? As already mentioned before, the software fix is very simple, it's just a matter of saving the note-id in the enex file...

I'm afraid it will definitely import like that when you double click the enex file and you didn't remove the file association with Evernote (as I proposed above)

In order to prevent this, you may associate .enex files to an harmless app (for instance notepad++) instead of evernote

Sometimes my Windows client falsely complains about disconnection (it's a rock solid 200 Mb wired connection). Clicking to another note and back removes the message. And maybe related to this release, in the middle of a collaborative edit session, RTE sometimes stops the collaboration (icons disappear). However although they were disconnected from each other, the changes in the several clients are still perfectly merged later on, no duplicates whatsoever 🙂 edit: sometimes RTE is slower than before. Maybe the "disconnection" message is triggered by a RTE timeout? android client: 10.50.4 windows client:10.56.9-win-ddl-public (4080)

I see it on my windows client as well, but only the first time, expect for pdf which may sometimes keep loading for 1 second or so. Really no issue compared to what we had the last 2 years (in android).

Look around you, most competitors are putting it in their product range. Evernote can't but follow the AI wave to survive. And AI search would be very useful, certainly for unstructured data !

On the windows client I see sometimes a small delay for notes never opened in RTE before. However, from then on these notes open instantly later on. No big deal for me...

There is no select limit in Legacy, that is an important one if you need to reorganize your tag and folder structure. And before killing legacy, V10 html backup should be fixed with working attachments links and relative note links into the html export folder . After all, what's the point of HTml without links ? This html bug is still open for 2 years now: Ticket# 3394987 - Re: Ticket# 3340943 - ticket 3309909

In the meantime I did some more successful tests on my old A50 phone. Even on that phone, the evernote client is now fast and reliable enough to take small notes on the go, which is one of my main use cases 🙂

I think I've seen something like this in the Windows client, a spinning blue circle for a long time. I've noticed that if you close the note and reopen it, everything syncs immediately. This is indeed something that could be improved...

When I said, images are stored much faster, I meant camera pictures appear much faster in my editor. Before it took more than 10 seconds to even see it in my editor.

I successfully smoke tested the RTE sync on my 4 year old samsung A50, on my windows client and on the web client. The results are really impressive ! All race condition bugs and deadlocks are history (so far) Images are stored much faster (factor 10) Collaborative editing is real time indeed, even on my old A50 phone with 4Gb ram It seems that the life of my 4 year old phone can now be extended by several years 🙂 The EN developers have now fully regained control over the sync and performance issues 👍👍 I will do more thoroughly testing and keep you informed...

I reinstalled legacy from https://cdn1.evernote.com/win6/public/Evernote_6.25.3.9348.exe and they co-exist nicely on my system again. Conclusion: new updates uninstall legacy now, but we can still reinstall it afterwards...

So you can still run both, but not at the same time? I can live with that limitation of having to stop the other first. But do you really need to uninstall?

What exactly do you mean by conflict? You can't run them simultaneously?
