  1. Hi. Did the Legacy version meet your general needs? If so, just uninstall v10 (or just don't use it). Legacy does not and will not get updates.
  2. Hi. What speed is your internet connection? Do you have many other users at that location?
  3. Hi. I moved your post to the general feature requests section to allow other users to show their support. Personally I don't see the point of recording a URL unless you are at some stage going to use it to navigate to that page, but while a link has (usually) been created, you're not required to use it.. and opting to create, or not to create a link just adds one more step in the process. Changing the behaviour is not likely to happen soon, so I think you may have to accept the status quo or find an alternative way to deal with the issue.
  4. Hi. There are several third-party sites offering older versions of Evernote. I'm still running 8.13.3 on both phone and Samsung tablet which (AFAIK) was the last publicly available version. You should be able to find instructions online as to how to change settings and download an unsecured installer. It's not without risk, so consider your options carefully...
  5. Given Evernote's existing links with the Google ecosystem I can imagine that they might add something for Google Calendar in due course, but Microsoft may be a stretch... maybe an export from Evernote tasks to ICS format to be imported into any calendar app would help? In the meantime there's Cronofy - https://evernote.cronofy.com/ - plus all the automation tools like IFTTT and Zapier that might have suitable apps (or zaps) to help...
  6. Oops - my bad; reacting too quickly. Glad you found your stuff. (Sorry for the false alarm @Austin G!) 🙂
  7. Hmmn. Well - I'm another user, but @Austin G is the real deal - quoting his name there should get his attention; maybe he can suggest something...
  8. The 'parent' database is the one stored on the server. You can't 'keep' the copy databases stored on your device - they will be overwritten by the parent when you reinstall Evernote. Check the server as I suggested before, then uninstall everything except legacy and reinstall the new version.
  9. Could you have used a different email address or user name when logging in originally?
  10. Hi. You're adding to a 2-year-old thread and Evernote has been updated a lot since then. Have you tried simply File > Exiting Evernote when you've finished working? The app should then restart on the last note you were working on.
  11. Hi again - "forbidden" how? Is there a message that says the note was created in another application? Or that it is corrupted and unreadable, or locked somehow?
  12. dcon tends to be correct about that sort of thing - he wrote the original software... There are many ways to classify notes, including Stacks, Notebooks, Titles, and Tags. Tips for organizing notes, notebooks, and tags
  13. Hi. You seem to be making a mountain out of a molehill - while your many and various versions of Evernote may not agree on the presence or otherwise of this note, they are all syncing with Evernote's servers. If you want to check the note exists, just sign in to Evernote.com via your browser. And use ONE Evernote version at a time to deal with your notes - don't swop between them, otherwise differences in when each app syncs online are quite likely to mean you don't see exactly the same note in each app. And what on earth is Evernote 2 anyway???
  14. Everyone is a target user - it's just that we targets have so many priorities that it takes a while to catch up... And Evernote have NEVER offered any indication of what might or might not be in the pipeline before it actually hit the streets. (Apart from announcing v10 last year...)
  15. Check the Play Store for Android TTS readers - there's nothing in Evernote, but the app just displays text like any other browser. You might find Google Assistant can find a note and start the necessary app to read it too...
  16. Haven't tried to modify the Home page yet, but it is - apparently - quite extensively configurable; I'm sure a note with an image or a pinned frame for notes would do the job here...
  17. OK - I'll join that... (with the caveat that Evernote is a bad password manager! Use LastPass, Bitwarden, Dashlane, NordPass who all meet your encryption needs.)
  18. Hi. I used to have some basic lookup information saved to my Windows desktop for easy reference - I just screenshot a document and used that image as the background. I imagine you could customise a Home page image the same way?
  19. Hi. Two people should NOT be in the same note at the same time - otherwise changes by one will be saved over changes by the other. This is possibly what happened to your changes. If you both were looking at the same note, and your colleague has editing priviledges, you may have made changes which their copy overwrote when that device synced. You may be better off using Google Docs or Dropbox for joint editing...
  20. Hi. You've not mentioned what device or version of Evernote you're using, but in general you should be aware that you'll have an "All Notes" view, which shows you all your notes no matter which notebook they're in. If you move one to a new notebook you won't necessarily see anything happen unless you switch to a view of just that notebook's contents. Moving notes is not supposed to be hard... Move a note to a different notebook
  21. I'm currently using 8.13 and it is using SD storage relatively happily (it's occasionally reverting to internal storage and I keep moving it back). The thing is - your mobile does not hold any notes - all your account contents are synced back to the server. Try signing in to Evernote.com via a tablet or desktop browser to confirm your notes are still there. Maybe uninstall Evernote from your phone / restart and reinstall normally, then try moving it to SD again?
  22. Hi. You searched WaterproFFing in this example. Plus - when moving a note, does click and drag (to the notebook required) not still work?
