  1. If you don't report stuff, you're relying on someone else to help the company find and fix the issue - it'll just take a lot longer. Thanks - wanted to help you make the point that this is not a cheap knock-off phone, therefore shouldn't be contributing. It's a fact that responses in the forum here are divided between '1' and '10' on a speed scale. Don't know whether that's number of notes, networks or whatever.
  2. Hi. Might attract more attention to use a descriptive headline like "Android performance unacceptable" and give device and Android version details to show it's not a hardware problem. Also if you are able - report this to Support (or feedback via the app) so Evernote have a chance to check your logs and maybe even correct the issue? From other comments around here, the world seems pretty evenly divided into those who can't say enough nice things about the new app, and those who won't give it house room. So it's unlikely to be an Evernote plot (whom we're mostly not, by the way) but probably just another glitch in the road for some devices...
  3. Hi. What device are you using and what's the OS? What version of Evernote do you have. What is "stuff" in Dropbox and does 'doing them' mean Importing / copying or drag & dropping them? Have you heard of Import Folders?

  5. I presume everyone's aware of the easy work-around. Can't see Evernote changing the standard operation, which has been used by millions of people for 12 years - not only would that bury them in complaints while users re-word and re-save millions of standard searches, but as you note they already offer that feature in a higher level package. Why undercut themselves?

  8. Hi. If you can create a shortcut to run that link from your desktop, you should be able to save the link to Evernote. Whether it works from there or not is debatable - might be down to restrictions on your software accepting a link from a third party app, or your OS blocking instructions coming from an unknown source.

  11. From memory Postach.io was set up by a very small team and is only one of several projects they're involved with. It didn't seem to be the most important thing the individuals involved have ongoing, and given the alarums and excursions we've all been enjoying over the past couple of years they may have quite a lot on their plate. They still seem to be taking my money with quiet efficiency, so it's a question of waiting I guess... There was a Postach.io announcement thread on here some while ago - you might try posting in there if you can find it (and if it still exists...). There are also various blogs on Twitter with postach.io addresses, so enquiries there might prompt more help or an official response...
  12. I think the point was that the UI looks different, so what do you actually click to filter tasks? Best I could find was this. - I gather you have to be a subscriber and use the latest EN version to get the best results...
  13. Did support give you any indication of what this 'known issue' actually was? Because a lot of people are using import folders, and if any significant number had problems like yours, we'd be inundated with comments here. It sounds like something you're doing could actually be triggering the duplications...

  16. Hi. If you deleted a sketch but kept the note - Use note history to view older versions of a note - if you deleted the entire note - Restore a note from the trash.

  18. Hi. So let's start with: what device, OS and Evernote version are you using? Are you sure you're using the correct login details? - It's deceptively easy to start a new account without realising it. Can you see any notes at all? If not - sounds like you're in the wrong account; sign out and try again. If you can see notes - have you checked in the Trash notebook to see whether notebooks have been moved there? (Notes are never deleted completely unless you empty the trash.) If after all that you're still having issues, please explain fully what you can and cannot see, and what you've done so far to try to fix this. Please also contact Support for their help.   20. Gmail extensions also working for me - I believe there's an option to include attachments. Maybe remove the extension and re-apply it?
  21. Hi. Check your notes via a desktop browser by signing in to Evernote.com. If you're a free user you may have exceeded the 2 device limit on your account - if you can login via the desktop, make sure you disconnect your old phone... Understanding the device limit
  22. Hi. Maybe try a different browser? Download the installed app and log in there? -and check your spam folder / when you are logged in check the email address you registered for that account.
