  1. Hi. Shift+# = ~ ? Also: Please give more details...
  2. I can't add much here - you say that you have files totalling 45GB; to be clear: is that a single item or several multi-GB files? What's the largest one? Given that your upload limit resets every month you might be able to process several files over a long period... and I wonder if you set your system to Airplane Mode whether Evernote would continue importing. You'd then have a chance to maybe reduce the size of any synced file before you reconnect. Otherwise you're into editing your file(s) or converting them into another format until you can identify the content you require. You might want to raise this with Evernote Support too - I don't know whether they could or would help, but it can't hurt to ask; it will take some time to get a response though. And finally - beware of making big volume adjustments to your account. It takes a long time for all the changes to sync to all devices!
  3. I tend to use Workflowy - which has a much more independent offline service. WF is a flexible collapsible outliner.
  4. You come up here as a free user too. Your login for the subscriber account must be different from the one you are using. Log out and back in - carefully - or use the 'forgot password' option at Evernote.com.
  5. Hi. If you have the mobile app, see Support under Evernote Settings...
  6. Hi. Evernote leaves much of the admin of sharing to the user - what's your Evernote version number? I tend to share things by creating a new notebook for the share-ee and then moving copies of notes into and out of that notebook as required. I'm always clear what is shared and to whom, and I don't accidentally delete something that I shared. Depending on what you've shared, and to whom, it might be easier just to UNshare those notes and see who (if anyone) complains.
  7. Hi. Device? Android version? I have a Samsung Tab 7 FE (Android 14) and am unable to create a new note, though I can edit existing notes. I reported that to Support (with logs) via settings on the tablet. I'd suggest you do the same.
  8. Anyone involved with the buyout will have secured their position (or their package) and everyone else with a grain of sense will have started defensive action before we heard about it. From what I hear Evernote staff did pretty well out of their severance - and hopefully BS have learned not to immediately throw out expertise they'll need.
  9. I thought it was a cloud-based service that 'could' operate offline from time to time... I have close to 70K notes and no lags when online. Just tested airplane mode and got a brief lag (~1 second) pulling up old notes under a 'syncing temporarily paused' flag. I auto-updated to 10.99.3 earlier. Have you tried an Appcleaner uninstall/ reinstall?
  10. It wasn't. That poster made it to three spams before I noticed...
  11. Just to be clear - we're mostly other users here, not Evernote. I have a free test account and haven't seen any recent warnings about devices, but I mainly access that from a desktop. It's a free service though - Evernote can decide it's over-subscribed and reduce or remove access as they please. I was simply pointing out that you do have another option to moving to another provider. Your choice.
  12. Hi. No. However there are 'updated date' searches - "updated:day" will list all the notes changed in the past 24 hours. Depending on what the edit involved, other search options might also assist. See https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/208313828-Use-advanced-search-syntax for more. Alternatively you could just open the note in its own window while you check other resources.
  13. Sorry for the delay - was trying out various tag processes to try and emulate this - no luck so far. If this is still an issue I can only suggest you contact Support (which is not us - mainly other users here). There are various ways to 'force' a re-sync, up to and including signing out of the app and restarting your device(s), and if your search index has been corrupted in some way, a full uninstall with Revo Uninstaller (Windows) or Appcleaner (Mac) followed by a restart / reinstall would fix things. Less intensively, you could try setting up a specific notebook for these notes so you have a permanent listing, or maybe create a 'parent' note from which it is easy to add new child notes as you build up a Table of Contents for related subjects...
  14. There have been other comments about tasks reverting toa prior state, but whether this is due to ongoing work no-one can say - best report it to Support (sorry) and see what happens...
  15. Hi. We're mainly other users here. For a more timely notification please send a request to Support - https://help.evernote.com/hc/requests/new - (be patient for a response here, and take care to reply to any boilerplate replies that you get)
  16. Hi. On what device, browser and OS / Evernote version number are you having web issues?
  17. Hi. Have you noticed the Multi-Select option in Clipper?
  18. The generic email you receive is presumably asking you to restart the device / reinstall the app and send logs. Did you do all that and send a reply? If not Support won't assist.
  19. Not that I'm aware of - what device and OS/ Evernote version numbers do you have? How many notes / tags?
  20. Hi. How big are the files you're adding to the notes? Thumbnails have to be created - they're much-slimmed-down versions of originals, and given a choice of images Evernote will usually go for the smallest to convert. If you're only including one image and it's a large one, updating the thumbnail may be very slow...
  21. Support have routinely been taking several days to react to reports - are you editing notes that you have created, or is this a shared notes issue?
  22. Still pretty easy to do with the flexible standard search, or an AI search = "what quotes do I have related to Health?" Feedback@evernote.com to tell the company about this - we're mostly other users here...
  23. It's a 'free trial' as offered by most other software. It can be changed or withdrawn at any time. To ensure continued access - subscribe; otherwise find another provider you are able to use.
