  1. Hmmn - Unpinning is note one of my talents apparently... I reported it.
  2. I can only suggest the variations of "switch it off and back on again..." Sign out / sign back in Restart the device Power cycle it Uninstall (Revo) and reinstall
  3. Hi. No. https://status.evernote.com/ if in doubt...
  4. Some systems seem to prefer the Store version, others the direct download. There's a whole discussion here -
  5. So some users say "use the store version", others say "direct download". This memory 'leak' seems to jump around...
  6. Hi. And sorry, there's not much - if you've had any boiler-plate replies to your ticket, I'd suggest you reply to those emails; otherwise all I can do is flag this post to see if one of the Admin employees can chase it up for you. Hopefully you'll get a reaction...
  7. Mine connects to today each time. What's your device and OS/ Evernote version numbers?
  8. Hmmn. The Legacy servers no longer exist and login has changed recently which may have prevented this working. I can only suggest trying again with your network disconnected - you're not trying to login here, just use an undocumented process from the startup routine. If that fails though you'll have to contact Evernote - use https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?guest=true and look for 'submit a request' on the top right or at the bottom of most screens.
  9. Hmmn. OK - here's the process... If you don't already have a Legacy app and file structure installed, look for a copy of the installation file (v6.25.x) on your system, or download it (which is NOT recommended) from a third party repository such as https://filehippo.com/download_evernote/history/ Once the Legacy file structure is in place 🔹Select: Evernote > Options> Open Database folder 🔹Drag and drop your .exb file into the database folder. 🔹Close database folder window 🔹Select: Ctrl+Shift+E while viewing the login screen. 🔹Select your .exb file This will create a new folder on your Desktop that contains a separate .enex file for each notebook (that has notes) within the account. EDIT - you'll then be able to import those into the new version or upload them to another client. (adapted from a 2016 fix described in the Evernote Forums) - The EXB file format is a modified MySQL database. Suitable file viewers and database managers will also help rescue data if ncecessary.
  10. Sorry about the dot - you mention "list of devices" though - you're only allowed one or two... and if that's not working - this is a free account; no official support, no obligation to fix issues.
  11. Hi. Device? OS and Evernote version numbers? What note did you lose? Much more detail please if you want suggestions...
  12. Evernote may identify a single device as being more than one connection if its IP address changes - see the link I sent previously.
  13. Hmmn. Check your system to see whether you have any .EXB files saved anywhere - check your Recycle Bin too. All your notes, including the unsynced ones, should be included in those database files. Extracting the information may be a little complicated though...
  14. The German version of this page may help... https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/23565231682323-Note-and-notebook-limits-in-Evernote-Free-December-2023
  15. Agreed, but it seems to be working for most other users...
  16. If you have separate notebooks for each of your main fields but tag a note in one field with the names of others - something in History forinstance could be tagged "economics", and "sociology" to be included in searches. General searches will also connect potentially interesting information - looking for "pies" might generate some information on the role cooking played in history... Evernote is flexible with titles / names and searches - you can structure your information in whatever way you think best, and change the system easily if you find a first try doesn't work so well...
  17. Hi. We're mainly users here - please contact Support - https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us
  18. Hi. There's no safe way to revert to a previous version, and Evernote syncs all notes to the cloud unless you previously had a Legacy version with local notebooks - a feature which is no longer supported. What device and operating system do you have? And do you recall what number your previous version of Evernote was?
  19. If you and your team are not subscribers, you'll have a strict device limit. Tracking connected devices is not an exact science - check here for your own situation https://www.evernote.com/Devices.action. Most issues will be resolved with a subscription.
