  1. Not relevant in this case I'm afraid.

  3. Hi. Please use the three dots menu in your original post to remove your email address - this is a public forum and you may just attract spam for your account. We're mainly other users here with no access to password information. Evernote do block accounts where the password seems insecure in any way - your notes will be saved on the server, you just need to contact Support via https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us to reset your password.
  4. After being soundly roasted here (for my part in which I apologise - if you are actually human) I wonder whether a real person would ever come back to the forums...
  5. Sorry but you have already done the two worst possible things you could do. If your notes were not visible in the app on your phone, then any information would have been held in temporary storage which has been cleared by the restart. If they were visible in the app, then it might have been possible to extract them by printing the content. If you no longer have access either way, no further action is possible...
  6. Hi. You have been, by the looks, on a heavily discounted 'grandfathered' scheme which Evernote has now ended. If the service is not worth it to you at the new price, then clearly you should find an alternative. No-one here can give you any guarantees of quality - we're mainly other users. It's my understanding that you have a maximum of 60 days from payment of the new subscription to claim a refund if the service is not satisfactory. Evernote CS (and refunds) available here: https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us
  7. Did the computer guy use Revo? Desktop works fine for me, but if your office is firewalled against heavy internet traffic there may be other reasons why your setup no longer works...
  8. Evernote announced over 3 years ago that app versions prior to v10 would stop working at some point, and unfortunately last week was that point. There is now no way to sync the content of your phone with the server. If you can print from the phone, it may be possible to create PDF files of your unsynced notes and email them to your Evernote account address to be included in your online account. I also have an S7 and I uninstalled the Evernote app some time ago. I can still send clips and notes to Evernote using email, but the Android OS it supports will not run v10. https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005347-Save-emails-into-Evernote
  9. If we're talking about an EXB file here, it should be accessible as SQLite database. Anything else - no clue.
  10. There's always the "/ New Linked Note" option. Share a notebook by email address(es) create separate notes for your choices and keep them in the shared notebook. Other people can then open the note(s) applicable to them as required...
  11. Hi. What version number of Evernote do you have installed? It appears you are a free user, and the restrictions on that account are quite strict. If you normally have access to another device to connect to your account, does that access still work?
  12. Hmmn. As I said, the 'child note' route is the only one available - you could call the parent note 'Media' or some such, and have a 'favourite' saved search to jump straight to it, then choose your preferred genre from there. As to backups - if you read the links I sent you, the 100 limit does not apply. You can export all the notes in one notebook and/ or automate the process if you wish.
  13. No clue, sorry - we're mostly other users here. You can contact Support via https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us
  14. Hi. Q1 - easiest suggestion in the latest Evernote version is the '/' "create a new linked note here" command. Create a new linked note for each of your headings and copy/ paste the content for that heading to the new note. Eventually you should have a 'Table of Contents' note with just the headings. Click "classic film noir" to go to that note and content. There's no general way to link into a note content, only to 'child' notes as above. Q2 - It's possible but highly inadvisable to save content to one note - there's no 'notebook' metadata so a restore would give you all your notes in one notebook. Best advice - export notebook by notebook. See https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/209005557-Export-notes-and-notebooks-as-ENEX-or-HTML and https://discussion.evernote.com/forums/topic/145836-how-to-make-proper-and-automated-back-ups-of-evernote-v10-data-on-windows-solved/#comment-706757
  15. Try restarting your device and log in again? If that doesn't work, no idea - sorry.
  16. Am I missing something? Surely if one import folder is importing to one account on one device, all other devices connected to that account are going to sync up to any imports automatically... ? Why the need for multiple imports?
  17. Not sure what happened here. Normally if a post contains an issue the while thing is removed. I'm a moderator here but have no ability to edit posts, just to delete. As you have less than 5 posts, yours are subject to approval by a different team, so might have triggered some anti-spam routine - but as you've seen it's easy enough to add information back if it goes missing. Apologies for the brief excitement... I think finding a way to make unauthorised free use of a deprecated product counts as a bit more than 'fixing a bug'... just note that there is no approval or support from Evernote for any issues relating to this Chinese script or the obsolete software.
  18. Cooking recipe sites seem to be getting more protective of their content unless you're a member. If you check the page there's usually a 'print' or 'copy' option. You can usually print to PDF and attach that to a note, or copy and paste into a new note.
  19. Hi. Short answer: no. You could feed this back to Evernote Support as a request...
