  1. Same issue I have with Readwise. They have been informed about the issue (well, they should inform us, but OK... 🙂). So, let's hope there is a fix arriving soon.
  2. @Federico Simionato said (DM) last week he asked the team for more information about this ongoing issue. I also have an open support ticket, which they tried to close as "solved" last week 🙄. I reopened it and asked for a clear solution. In my case, Readwise pushes updates to Evernote. They arrive in Evernote, but the updates are only visible in the note history. The note itself shows an outdated version, which typically happens after I edit the note. I really hope they are working on this issue, so perhaps give it some weeks 😕.
  3. No, not how to handle it. That's really not how you treat your customers. Frankly, I hope there is a clarification from your side on this. I also feel personally addressed here because there are issues with the API, which were reported during the beta testing of the new sync. There was zero feedback from you, even after repeatedly asking for feedback (so why am I participating in such a program). In June the next issue was a fact, namely a failing integration between Readwise and Evernote. There too I got zero feedback from your side, until after 10 times or so asking for an update and x number of "follow-up" tickets I finally got a message (last week) that I should actually go to the third party with the message that "they should try some more retry" or something like that (and you guys were going to see if there was nothing to do on your side). As a company, is it actually that hard to even give an overall picture of where you stand? I work in the software engineering sector and let's just say that we do communicate with our customers (even when things are going badly). Always taught that communication to the customer is of the utmost importance.
  4. Did I say this? I said that one of the unique selling points of Evernote was all these integrations. And when choosing a PKM, it could be that this is one of the reasons why you choose a given app. OK? And if that app breaks these integrations (without prior notice), then what? To me, it means: OK, that's the new Evernote. But those APIs still work, don't they? It's not about the cost of "paid APIs", it's all about broken integrations due to how Evernote releases their software. I would be only too happy to pay as long as it just "keeps" working. That's your point of view; I don't know what the vision of Evernote was in the past. Do you? Is that the reason why they don't give full attention to the API? I don't know. But do you? It seems like you have inside information 🙂.
  5. I can understand the reasons. But what I cannot understand is how this could ever be released in this way. They knew that things would break. But hey… who cares 🙂…? What options do I have now? Had a great setup with external integrations I relied on (and pay for!). Really disappointed with this ‘new’ Evernote 😔.
  6. Nothing. My ticket is open since mid June; no feedback (I’ve sent some reminders). One of the reasons I pay for an Evernote subscription are the integrations. They broke it. Crazy. 😏
  7. I'm still noticing this issue; I lost the content of 5 tasks plus parts of the note content just because I was editing the note in a new window. Opening and editing notes in their own window seems like something to avoid nowadays. The software is quite buggy at the moment. 😕
  8. Seems this is the reason why Readwise integration is broken: note history shows the changes but note itself shows an older. Seems to happen once you edit that same note yourself. Ticket created few days ago.
  9. And same here; even my note history (I have a paid account) doesn't show previous versions which are worth recovering. I lost half a day of work. I assume opening the note on my iPhone was the culprit. Crazy... data loss is NOT OK 😕.
  10. I'd like to see a dropdown next to the AI button with options like you suggest, plus others like "Summarize," "Fix Spelling and Grammar," and "Explain." Not just one "magic" button. Are there plans to refine this?
  11. Issues with make.com (updating notes) and the macos apple shortcuts (appending content to a certain note).
  12. I reported this issue with the new sync feature while I was on the preview program in January, but it was ignored and didn't get priority. In May, they released the feature for all users. I cannot understand the reasoning behind such an approach.
  13. Same (Apple shortcut runs once; it fails afterwards); happening since I’m on the new sync mechanism. I have already created a support ticket, but I have not received any feedback or a solution.
  14. No glitches anymore; using iOS; sync is instant.
  15. On a preview program and I can guarantee you note conflicts are gone and sync is very fast. Have some patience .
  16. I did. They first said it wasn't related to the extension and pointed me to contact the Chrome developers team. After explaining - yes, I am / we are the QA engineer(s) of Evernote - that the issue went away after disabling the extension they forwarded the ticket to the engineering team. Waiting on more feedback.
  17. Did not fix the issue on my side; issue came back after some time.
  18. This, this and this. Seems like Evernote is for the people who have not kept up with technical advances and developments in recent years. Asking such a price is totally uncompetitive when comparing the feature set. It looks more and more like a fossil than really a state-of-the-art tool (which is what it once was!).
  19. Not difficult at all; Evernote publishes the "official" dates on their website via https://help.evernote.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058361833-Evernote-release-notes
  20. It's already the case. Latest stable is from February 8th; I am on a preview build (new sync) and nothing new since the beginning of January. Evernote was a company; it became part of another company (building Evernote but also other apps)... sounds so strange for what was once such a great company.
  21. My concern is mainly timing: the transition to Evernote V10 is far from ready (and with a legacy client still up-and-running). The sync issues are one thing and that doesn't seem to be moving forward (I myself am participating in a preview program but neither through these forums nor through support am I getting any information on the further course of that beta or progress). Such magnitude of layoffs cannot possibly be without implications to software development teams (and everything around them).
  22. Just search for "Evernote" on LinkedIN and filter on the contributions. Some examples below ... lots of messages like these.
  23. I believe this isn't rolled out yet (even while the release notes say so). Perhaps they need to activate something on server level... I've created a support ticket to request for more information.
  24. What do you mean? Open a note on mobile AND using desktop client and might still get duplicate notes -> the sync does not work in the same (smooth!) way as other apps do (f.e. Obsidian (Sync) and Apple Notes). Screenshot from a test I did 5 minutes ago.
