  1. I think I can safely say that no one here is pleased about the price increase. I personally think it is too high as well. Like any service I subscribe to, when the price gets raised I have to reevaluate whether it is still worth it to me or not. I don’t need to make the decision until this fall. I will probably stay but drop down to the personal plan to save a few dollars. Also, if you export by notebook, the recommended method, you are not limited to 50 notes.
  2. Building actionable momentum is best done by creating a support ticket. These are primarily user forums and the Evernote team rarely visits.
  3. Defending? Not at all. It doesn't matter to me either way. I've made my peace with V10 a year ago. I suspect they are ready to pull the plug anytime and are watching metrics to see when the time is right. When the lights are finally switched off on Legacy it will be a hardship for those that have hung on to the very end and Evernote is using this nagging to encourage and ease migration along instead of having a large disgruntled mob at the end ... IMHO. Could they have implemented this popup better? Sure, but I don't expect they will spend any energy at this point to change it.
  4. I’m not sure what you mean about being forced into a one week trial. Even on the free plan you will still have access to those notes though under the free plan restrictions.
  5. Evernote has changed how they sync updates in the background. It used to be they would sync full notes. Now they are syncing incremental changes only. A better method overall once the problems are ironed out. It has nothing to do on your end. With the new change syncing is now hands off and automatic. Thanks for submitting a ticket.
  6. I have seen this as well. I "think" it is due to ongoing problems with the new sync and hope this will cure itself as the sync problems get ironed out. If you haven't already, entering a support ticket stating the problem is helpful to development.
  7. You may find it surprising that people can actually make the go or stay decision all by themselves. Most of those that do leave make the mature decision to just leave.
  8. Yet you are still showing up here. Can’t find a better use of your time?
  9. I should have been clearer. It would be interesting to know if there is a problem with the note history of the "Things to do" note. The default note for tasks.
  10. Not as elegant as you want, but if you put one task each in its own note, you can then structure these notes using tags or notebooks as needed. Or one note could be a collection of related tasks ... as a thought.
  11. This is my note history for the "things to do" note. It would be interesting to know if others are also see problems with note history or not.
  12. If you want your request to be definitely heard open a support ticket. I have my doubts that Evernote even reads the support request section in the forum.
  13. If you don’t want to switch to V10, that’s fine, but the nag is telling you that the time to switch to something is now.
  14. If you are a free user I think the only option is with Twitter. If on a paid plan it is easiest through a mobile device. Go to settings - support - submit a support request.
  15. I have the same problem and using the same system and OS. If you haven’t already, please submit a problem ticket. The more information development gets on this problem the better the chance we’ll get this fixed.
  16. You can link to and add tags to the notes that are containers for the tasks.
  17. Yes, I was hopeful. This time I actually got an error message and hopefully that additional information in the log will be helpful to development.
  18. Unfortunately not all. I'm also having task problems on 10.58.8 and have submitted a new ticket.
  19. There has definitely been unintended consequences with the new sync and the loss of data is particularly bad. I've experienced some but not to the extent you have. Thanks for following up with support.
  20. Ok, you are using the latest version. Thanks, that is what I was checking for. If you haven't already, it would help us all if you submit a support ticket with this detail. I have also experienced problems with tasks, on the latest version as well, and the more information development gets, the better the chance we can get this fixed.
  21. If you haven't already, please submit a problem ticket. What is confusing me is the message. I have only seen that in the legacy version before, never V10. Can you see your tasks when you log into Evernote in your web browser, instead of using the installed Windows client?
  22. Thanks for sharing this with your fellow users. All we can do is sympathize. Have you also shared this with Evernote support? Don't expect that they will see and act on this posting.
  23. And you can’t see any tasks? I’m referring to the content not supported message.
